I saw a comparison with Royal Ivey. If he can be Royal Ivey with better offense then he would be a great addition to the raptors.

Was a solid role player. More of a defensive back up combo guard. Think he's an assistant coach now

Siakam has gotten so much stronger. I can't wait to see him on the defensive end. Something we don't get to see in the training videos.
He'll definitely earn All-Defensive honors this year for sure and I think he'll also be in the running for DPOY.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

Norman Powell looks gooood.

He's gonna be the breakout candidate next year my man. Mark my words. I've been preaching Powell's name as the guy to watch for ever since Kawhi left

Honestly, have no idea how this guy went undrafted. Can play D, seems to have good bball IQ, can hit the 3 (shooting form looks good). If he was a late first round pick by us, I would still be happy with what I have seen so far.

Maybe the age thing again? Masai's just gobbling up these seniors.

Judging by college, he tries really hard and his strong and athletic (that's why he grades as an elite rebounder for his position)

He's not gonna be a shutdown guy but I don't think he will be a liability. He's not the smartest defender though slow to react and a little foul prone. He did get his fair share of chase down blocks though

Probably very similar to Norman Powell all things considered

Based on the college footages on YouTube and his recent runs, TD looks like he is also pretty good at disrupting passing lanes. If we are going with back up SGs, I think TD is miles ahead of Matt Thomas in terms of defense.

You can't say that about Thomas because Rico style scrimmages wouldn't suit his game. I saw Doncic at a pick up game and he was a beast because he has a Harden like game. However I would assume JJ would be pretty useless in a game like this. Even Middleton.

I understand that but I’m just talking about his defence. Seeing him get cooked by players not in the league isn’t a great look even with the caveat that it’s a glorified pickup game
