And yet Kaepernick remains unsigned. I get not wanting him as your backup QB. But for an otherwise competitive team that has now lost their starter for a significant portion of time, I'd strongly consider bringing him in for at least a workout.

Holden has college RT and LT experience. LT in 2015 and beyond. Technician type that excelled more in the run game. Strong and big hands (10 1/8). I thought some quickness limitations would make him a RT only. Shorter arms and can't redirect. Struggled badly with twists.
