I think 81 point game would have been a better choice personally. Because he just went bananas in a comeback win in his prime for 81 POINTS. Last game was a bigger spectacle though. Not really important either way ha

This list was for the 2010s so that game wouldn't apply as it was in 2006.

So what you're telling me is that didn't happen yesterday...

That moment when you suddenly feel old. no way did I think that was almost 14 years ago

My gut feeling was like 08 or 09 and then I was like "oh wait they were actually good again by then" so yeah I feel you lol

That Spurs-Thunder double OT game from earlier this year where LMA dropped 56 was way better of a game than Kobe's 60 point chuckfest.

Knowing ESPN’s embarrassing man crush on Lebron, I fully expected him to be in every game... instead of just half of them.

To be fair a top 10 games LeBron played in would be a pretty good list. He did kinda dominate the entire decade.

Garbage list. What about lakers vs Celtics 2010? Absolute garbage list.

The stakes in that game were really high, but that was an ugly slugfest. It's only worth watching for the 4th quarter (unless you're a Celtics fan like me :banghead:)

Am also pleasantly surprised to see the Brandon Roy comeback over Dallas game on there. It may have ultimately not proved to be terribly consequential, but it was one of those games that I don't think anyone who watched it live will ever forget.

I remember exactly where I was. It was an early Saturday afternoon game. I took my kids to Seaside, OR for the day. I ended up watching the 4th quarter standing in front of a TV in an arcade.

I saw all but numbers 3 and 7 live, basically in their entirety. (Glad I opted to watch Kobe instead of the foregone conclusion of the Warriors over the Grizzlies!)

I mostly agree with the list. The six I saw were all great and instantly memorable. Except Game 7 of 2016. I doubt anyone will agree with me on this one, but that whole series just felt so fishy to me, so I couldn't really enjoy any of the Game 7. I was watching in a little room with like ten other people, and I was just thinking, "Please let the better team win." Then they didn't, and I was bummed. Not bummed like when your team loses a Game 7 - a cathartic kind of bummed. But just bummed like when you're thinking, "The world is such a farce. Everything is fake." An empty, meaningless bummed. I dunno if that makes sense. Anyway, otherwise, the list looks pretty great to me.

My personal favorite series of the decade was the 2014 Finals. So much beautiful basketball, and so much revenge. Plus, I was watching with my sister, which is super rare and made it way more special. But subjectivity aside, this is a pretty solid list.

My first response was 'no Cavs-Pistons semis when Lebron scored like 45 straight pts?' Then I looked it up and saw it was not even close to the 2010s, and I felt like the knight at the end of Indiana jones and the last crusade.

That's the one game on the list I missed, and I'm glad I did. Yeah boy I'm sure his 22/50, including 6/21 from 3-point range in a meaningless game against a UTA team that started Jeff Withey, Trey Lyles and Shelvin Mack was a real thing of beauty.

Kobe: 22/50 = .440 FG%
Rest of 17-win Laker squad: 19/35 = .542 FG%

Yeah, Kobe got his 60, but his crappy teammates actually shot the ball substantially better than he did.

I was watching the POR vs. DEN game and some dolt kept interrupting the game thread to let us know Kobe was "on fire" and urging us to switch channels to see his "historic performance". Gag!
