Yeah I've been trying really hard to focus on other things since the NBA season was finished but It's surreal to live in a world where KD and Kyrie are rockin our unis and be so commited to the team.

In terms of KD, unless he has a setback, I can see him coming back during the last 5-10 games of the season to try to get in bbal shape to make a push in the playoffs similar to how we saw Caris do last season.

Last season was magical but this season has all the ingredients to be even more memorable. Let's get it.

Unless the Dave & Buster’s in Manhattan has had a renovation and expansion since the last time I was there several years ago, the D&Bs in Philly and Franklin Mills (NJ) are miles better. I hope KD did more than that lol.

Kyrie grew up a Nets fan during the Kidd glory years. That the Knicks have been irrelevant for the entire lives of most of the NBA players *should* not be news to anybody. For some reason, to old media this is surprising.

KD is not a believer in abandoning the mid range J

As far as I'm concerned he can shoot whatever shot he wants. As the tweet pointed out, dude's mid range efficiency is ridiculous.

This last tweet was interesting to me though:

He’s got a point but he’ll get blasted for it anyways. The mid range shot still has value but I don’t think we have seen a proficient mid range scorer and finisher around the rim that plays two way ball since Wade.

Being a plus defender kills the necessary need to be terrific at the three sometimes.

He has a point with that last tweet, but one must also understand that analytics do favor taking the best shot possible. Numbers don't hold the bias, the people using them might.

Also KD is a guy who prides himself on his scoring efficiency, so at the end of the day, he cares about efficiency a lot.

How do you feel about KD's stance though? Nets are primarily a three point shooting/layup/dunk team. Are you cool with KD breaking the offensive set for an open mid range J?

Lord knows I am. That will make our offense elite and championship caliber. Three point shooters, rim rolling bigs, north south ball handlers and a 7'0 player that can get his shot off over anyone either outside or within the mid range. I have a hard time not thinking about the Nets winning a title within the next 3 years.
