My year two evaluation of Pettis so far. I still like his ability to make separation. I don't trust his hands. and i question if he has the toughness for this league. He doesn't have a killer mentality, he's kinda soft so far..

Hurd can't come back fast enough.

Hurd, Samuel (still believe it was poor draft pick value), and James are the keepers in the group. Hurd and James are the only ones I'm a hard, hard in on.

Move on from the rest of the ones on the roster ASAP.

I wouldn't be opposed to bring Matthews back, though if I had trade power and knew who else was truly available for discussion I may decide on something else instead of that.

I will say, numbers aside, this is by far the best Garoppolo has looked throwing the ball. He's showing the decisiveness and accuracy over the middle that got him the contract. Let's hope he can keep it up.
