Tomorrow: I have faith in the guys that we have.

(I'm not even saying he actually will/does believe that. I'm just predicting).

And, actually, I think they probably do feel better about their corners than they probably should.

At this point, I'd probably fall on the lower end of how long people expect Sherman to be worth it, plus I've said I am leaning towards Witherspoon not being worth the investment if you do have to pay him top 18 cornerback money ($10M/year), K'Waun needs to go, Verrett was a solid throw of the dice signing but health is scary. I liked the Tim Harris pick developmentally but he's out for the year and not getting any field reps this year.

They may not be that far off to being closer to where they were for so many years at CB than I think a lot of people think. Especially when this team's window opens up enough to make an actual run. I'm far more pessimistic corner wise for the short and long term future than I think many others are right now. Same boat a lot of teams are in but still.

Revisiting this.

Cleveland is struggling tonight getting set up on time defensively. I don't have the recollection to know if it's been a problem in more than just this half for them or not, but it may be part of a wise strategy to keep it going, or really crank it up if they haven't figured things out in 2 weeks when they play them.

Too bad about Witherspoon. He was having a really good season. Hopefully the injury is not too serious. Verrett is really taking a beating on social meeting. He had the worst possible outcome during the game. If Witherspoon is out, I would like to see Verrett practice for a couple of weeks and play more before writing him off
