Jason Kipnis will undergo surgery on his right hand Tuesday in New York.
Kipnis broke the hamate bone in his right hand on Sept. 15.
The infielder could be done with the Cleveland Indians. They have a $16.5 million club option on Kipnis for 2020, but they aren\'t expected to exercise it.
The Indians are currently tied with the Rays for the second Wild Card spot.
