Saw that on Twitter. Accidentally elbowed in the face during a scrimmage and taken to the hospital. A broken face sounds really painful, but shouldn’t have any long lasting impact once he’s good to play again.

How many times has Kyrie had a facial injury? I know he had one while with Boston, and I'm pretty sure he wore a mask while playing for the Cavs. It is kind of strange that he keeps getting injured in his face. I really hope this doesn't affect his season.

Start of season 1 month away, doubt he'll even be in the mask at that point.

I'm guessing its because he is so crafty dribbling and finishing in the paint that guys swipe or try to block the ball and hit his face instead. :lol:

Thats what I was thinking. Little guy inside going to catch a stray elbow from time to time.
