Can you at least show me examples where Philly fans (more than a few) are bad mouthing him and wishing he'd fail? This seems like something Magic fans are creating for whatever reason. The most vocal Philly fan on this board, George Marcus or whatever, has been openly supportive for Fultz.

Edit*

Here are some of the most recent post regarding Fultz on the Sixers board.

"Markelle got his 4th year option picked up"

"It should be interesting to see how he plays. He can be a productive player with his play making and defense."

"Honestly, doesnt matter unless he can regain his shooting. One of the weirdest stories ever"

"The Hanlen video we never got. Still looks off. I guess we'll see if he's going to be a contributor in the NBA this season."

"Feel like he should be capable of giving a decent team backup minutes, just a question of what happens if he has another setback or rough patch."

"The issue is how consistent can his jumper be. We saw the same thing last season when his jumper went from trending up and then suddenly losing it mysteriously."

"Orlando Magic is perfect team for Fultz."

"Well, 3pt shot looks a bit better but it is a low release point shot and it is very likely to be blocked by defenders. Hope I'm wrong"

My man you dont have to look far, just take a stroll through your own board for the obvious and blatant "bad mouthing". All the examples below are from different posters

He is the biggest bust in NBA history.

I still contest he is the biggest bust of all time, across all sports.

No other bust compares to Fultz.

Fultz is mental case.

Dude is fried.

I hate to say this about anyone but this kid is a mentally weak loser.

oh man im happy this clown show is out of Philly.

You're not convincing anyone. It is a fact that the majority of sixers fan hold some sort of resentment towards Kelle and maybe it's rightfully given. I know if the tables were turned I'll probably feel the same way, but please do not try to save face now. Not worth it little homie.

George Marcus is literally the exception.

I for one would like to see him find rotation minutes this season and build up a career.

Conveniently nit picked. Gotcha.

If you guys "aren't worried about Kelle" why create a topic on your board titled

"Magic GM doesn't know when Markelle Fultz will play for the Orlando Magic"

Obviously someone cares.

Uhmm I just checked the board and those comments are from Jun-Jul and are 3 pages away from the first page. You really want to talk about nitpicking? My examples are all recent from the past few days.

Also, a lot of those posters you quoted have ALWAYS had that stance. Even when Fultz was on the team. And idk, maybe they're making threads about Fultz because he was on the team? Magic fans want Sixers fans to feel some type of way about Fultz but they have bigger fish to fry. Fultz contuing to bust or blossom as an allstar means nothing to Philly at this point.

Link? Also, every fanbase has pretty much crapped on Fultz, it's not something that's just exclusive to those select Philly fans. The fact is, so far in his career, he has been a bust. A Philly fan stating that doesn't mean they wish for him to fail

Quoting fans that are stating he is a bust (which he has been so far) does not prove your point of Philly fans wanting him to fail. Sorry, lil Homie.

I think Lloyd Free was the main person hating on Fultz. I have respect for Lloyd, but I don't agree with him here. I thought most of the fans I saw were doubtful about Fultz's future but wished him well. I've probably been the most optimistic about the likelihood of him realizing his potential among Sixers fans and will continue to root for him.

Using the term "hating" on Fultz in the context of this conversation implies that I wish Fultz fails for the Magic because he was garbage for the 76ers. It's a weak effort to say "this one guy is the bad guy and the rest if us good fans aren't like that". Now I don't mind being looked at as a bad guy on this silly subject, but characterize the positions truthfully. You, and every other person familiar with my position on Fultz, knows I've been saying he wasn't anything for 3 years now (BEFORE he was even on the 76ers). I don't have a need to "hate" on Fultz because he's on the Magic. He was fools gold when he was on Washington, he was nothing but garbage on the 76ers.

Defend your position to the Magic fans that are calling you out, don't speak for me. I already know what he is. There is no "hoping" involved.
