Not the fan of Harden at all , but he carried his team the last season and seasons before , Curry will have the chance to prove us if he can do it by himself, not having, big two or three playing alongside with him.

LeBron should be above Giannis at #2

Insane to say a player whose case solely relies on the playoffs should be #2 in a season he didn't even make the playoffs.

Not sure where you're getting at. You can make the same case for Lebron. Are you denying that Lebron has a higher IQ and better shooting than Giannis?

In a playoff game (espcially in the last 5 inutes), I guarantee you 99% of players and fans are gonna be more scared of Lebron than Giannis.

I guarantee that you are delusional and living in the past. Giannis is a better player than LeBron and it really isn't even an argument at this point

Stats wise in the regular season, yes...Giannis is the better player.

But in the playoffs, LeBron is much more intimidating than Giannis, yes even now

Lebron wasn't in the plyoffs, while giannis nearly knocked off the champs. What you seem to be missing here is Giannis is actually defensively what espn thinks kawhi is.

maybe Lebron can prove us first that he can win without a big three playing alongside with him.

Great point. Giannis' (and Embiid's) defensive impact blows away anyone else in that top 10. Kawhi is still a very good defender, but he doesn't control the paint like those two guys (and Gobert) do.

Nope

I'm pretty sure Houston had the best record in the NBA season before last and were like 5 or 6 whole games ahead of the Warriors.

They finished the season on the couch watching the Warriors in the finals.

You mean the year Curry was out for something like 10 games towards the end of the regular season? With Curry the Warriors were on a 65-win pace. Then he got injured and they finished where they did.

A career loser like AD should not be sniffing top 5 status... surround a top 5 player with garbage and they should still be making the 2nd round consistently.

Harden, Durant, Curry and Kawhi are all interchangeable in the 1-4 spot depending on what you value most in your lead guy.

Giannis and AD are in the 5/6 spots.

Lebron 7

Jokic, George, Dame all in the discussion for 8-10

Is Durant listed on the top 100 list for even injured, he's a top 100 player.

The top 10 players are all interchangeable but if the Lakers in the hunt in March, there is no
more valuable player than Lebron.

You would think they could have at least put some sort of a fight against the Warriors with such a loaded back court.

Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that Dame probably should be 13 while Mccolum shoudl've been way lower

Dame beat Jokic and George. So how low should they be?

The post was clearly not just about Dame though.

CJ at 13 is obviously way too high. But Dame at 9 is fine. We voted him 10th here last month.

Suffice to say I lean on Ben Taylor's insight and rankings far more than ESPN. The list was indeed absurdly poor though, including these top 10.

Harden carried them as far as the meetings with Curry and the Warriors. Never once farther. He had his shot once again this past post season. Curry once again took it from him.

7. Jokic
6. Steph
5. AD
4. Harden
3. LBJ

The biggest issue is that LeBron is better than both Giannis and Kawhi and Paul George is not a top 10 player.

Yes but LeBron is on a slow decline and that puts him at #3. I could have been okay with him at #2 but 3 is fine at season’s end.

AD hasn’t done much yet but the generational talent is surely there. Giannis was a career loser too until last year but he was still a top 3-5 player. AD with a better support this season will cement him as top 3.

It would be extremely generous to rank that no D chucking volume scorer in the top 20. Top 10 is an absolute joke.

AD above Steph is insane. AD is talented as hell but Steph is so much more impactful

But you're fine with C.J., who plays worse defense, scores less efficiently and doesn't create for others at 13?

Dame:
D-PIPM = +0.2
TS% = .588
AST% = 30.6

C.J.
D-IPM = -0.9
TS% = .553
AST% = 13.8

He did not move up a spot, he stayed in the same place. Durant not being number one or two (as he would be, healthy) moved everyone from 2-10 up a slot.

LeBron, Curry and Davis are ranked fine.

AD over Curry is just horrible. AD should be lower than Embiid and Jokic. The list just continues to get worse.
