Ha, Stockton was one of the dirtiest players there were. Trip, pull, hit, grab...whatever he could do to gain an advantage. And refs overlooked that continuously.

So if it’s true he did trip...I couldn’t think of a more deserving player for it to happen to. Karma is a bitch.

If that was actually intentional it's more proof he's the GOAT anyways :D

If you watch that game back, they incorrectly lose a 2pt basket and a 3pt basket during the 1st half. One was at the end of a quarter, that got waived off, and the other was a 24 second violation. Two things that would have been corrected today.

Granted you could probably find stuff like that in every playoff series before replay. Shouldn't change the result. It was 20+ years ago, who cares.

If you're a fan of a team whose greatest stars are dinged consistently in historical relevance because of their lack of rings, you care.

Considering Jordan got obviously fouled right before that and it wasn't called I'd say it's a wash.

Missed foul calls happen both ways all game though, a missed goaltend call though at this stage in the game.....

I definitely don’t think Stockton flopped but I don’t think MJ tripped him intentionally either.

If you think one of the most co-ordinated athletes in any sport doesn't know exactly what hes doing with his leg after he shoots the ball, your're insane. In addition to this being 90's basketball, Jordan was also a known A**hole and in his peak powers of doing dirty crap to opponents

Pretty sure that is why he is the all-time assists and steals leader in the history of the league. Jeez, just appreciate his greatness. And plus, if you don't think Stockton was getting abuse as much as he dealt back you definitely were not watching the NBA in the '90s. Let it rest. John Stockton was one of the best (and toughest) point guards ever.

Everyone knows about his push-off in 98 to hit the game winning shot. But what about his trip of Stockton to win in 97?

Intentional?

The tweet already described what happened when it mentioned Stockton's leg clipped MJs foot. Then you turn it around on your post and say MJ tripped Stockton. :-? :-? :-?

Fair. But also fair is to say don’t whine when it happens back to him.
