Stupid. I just don't understand any of these proposed rules to prop up bad free throw shooters. If you can't shoot better than 50% from 15 feet away when nobody is allowed to guard you, then maybe you should, idk, learn how to shoot better? You're a **** professional basketball player.

Does it help bad free throw shooters? Too lazy to click but thought you only get 1 shot. If you are a 40% free throw shooter, you get 0 points instead of statistically 1 point during that trip. (Though it will average out)

I thought the same- helping bad FT shooters would maybe more likely "make the first it counts for all, miss it and you shoot the others".

Lowe was on the Jump yesterday and he mentioned some research that suggests players are more likely to make the second than the first, and that you'd see FT% plummet.

I think the FT idea is awesome. After like the 8th team foul, it should just be an automatic 2 points.

Interesting to think about. Is it lack of a practice shot before the first one like the first one is to the second one, or is it the increased concentration on making the second one?

That would make sense. It obviously counts, but you've sort of had a practice free throw before you take the second one so you can gauge "do I need to shoot it further, shorter, etc."

As a fan of basketball in general, I’d really like to see Golden State trade DLo for Aaron Gordon. Gordon would be so much fun on that Warriors team.

I'm overly excited to see certified heights. I hope they do it w/o shoes.

Poor Sky Smith. If they take official player heights, he probably won't be able to hype Thon as 7 feet of skill anymore.

There would be a lot of nervous 6'0" PGs.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

This is great except for the article saying Durant plays bigger than his size.

Unless there will be independent people doing the measurements the numbers will still be inflated.

I'm guessing Bledsoe is closer to 5"11 than 6'1".
