Hard nose defensive team. I think Jimmy is going to push it to a new level with his intensity, the Heat have in recent years seemed to sleep walk through games, hopefully Jimmy will have them 'on' all the time.

Winslow / Waiters / Jimmy / JJ / Bam is really a potentially amazing team if everyone is health and in shape (if we get contract year Dion and JJ). 5 playmakers, 3 very capable 3 point shooters and 5 guys that are all pretty good to great defenders and are multi positional. They could potentially cause havoc on D (What I think their identity could/should be) and then capitalise on it on the other end. Dragic, Herro, KO, KZ, Derrick Jones JR and Meyers can all slot in and out of there, but that first lineup is maybe the best on both ends

They will lose him if they do that. It wasn't that long ago that Justise was in a funk, and it took the return of Wade and Wade encouraging him to get him going again. Wade's not coming back through those doors. If they kill his spirit again, he's done.

If he is that mentally weak, then he shouldn't play professional ball. I really hope it's not the case. I have a feeling Winslow it's going to have a breakout season.

JJ belongs off the bench where he can turn the ball over as much as his heart desires

Never really thought about it, but that's legit our best defensive line-up(or second best)

This is one of the biggest myths I see get posted on here  it wasnt the return of Wade that got him going again, Justise had some real mental issues that his mom and close friends helped him work through. He talked about this in a story last year.

so, I'm playing NBA 2k20, and their entire theme and decor has been to copy the Miami Heat's Vice colors.

I agree with this. Although, there has been some well documented frustration from Winslow's side about the way he was being used as a 4. It's clear he just doesn't see himself being maximized at the 4 and I think that's understating his feelings about it. If he's put out there as a 4 or 3 for another season without adequate ball handling reps, I do see a situation where frustration builds again and it becomes clearer him and the organization don't see eye to eye. This is a common thing that happens every season with tons of players so I don't see the Heat as being exempt from that possibility.

I hope Herro improved on catch and shoots. C&S is arguably the most important thing a 3-point shooter has to be good at.

3 point shooting in general needs to be his strength, that is how he gonna make a name for himself. There are a lot of aspects to shooting. Like Booker, Herro appears to be fundamentally smart as a shooter, has great instinct. But we will see, not expecting him to be top level his first year. I expect him to be respectable and show flashes.

I think the Heat wants to relieve some defensive responsibilities off of Butler. I have a feeling Winslow starts at the swing position, and then Waiters is the first to sub and replaces Dragic and then Winslow get PG duties. But who knows with Spo, you know he gonna change lineups constantly up until All-star break

has nothing to do with mentally weak. It's a business. Same reason Harden left OKC. Now Winslow hasn't shown that level, but if he feels he's being held back, questions will be asked. The clock is ticking

Winslow is not the type of player at this point in his career that can be demanding anything. He has done absolutely nothing in this league. The Heat has been really patient and committed to his development and because of it he showed improvement and flashes of what he could become, but he is in no position to force the Heat hand when it comes to what position he plays this season. If anything, Dragic has more stripes than him and could very well be the one demanding to be the staring PG.
