Things will turn around real quick once the season starts and the Clippers end up winning, and fans start to jump on the bandwagon. Its eniveitable.
Why so serious?

I flew from Europe to L.A in 2010 to catch some Clips games and such. I wore clips gear around town and got booed or laughed at. Terrible experience

starting to notice a similar pattern here
i thought it was few clippers fans outside in real life outside of the clippsters that post here.

Lakers fans outnumber Clippers fans by the millions.

I think that number was reduced to half with Kobe retiring.

**** you.

If you think that franchise gives a damn any of inner city life got another thing coming. Sick of punk ass laker fans always trying to talk down on everyone like the glamour of the franchise like any of you can afford those high ass seats. But then Lakers fans want to talk **** online and then take their bum ass to clipper games because they can’t afford the seats and want to see a game.

Clippers have been rocking out Staples whenever they had a good team and will continue to do so moving forward. Smart ass fans can kiss my ass the Lakers don’t mean a damn thing to me born and still in LA

Seems like the Lakers means everything to you brah.. that's why you're out here hating on them

The whole thing started with shots from laker fans. For so much glory it’s always the bs stuff to feel superior. But again we will see how it all plays out

Curious, is Manchester still a ManU town or has ManCity taken over?

The only thing factual is coach, and that great coach hasn't even taken them to a conference final over how many years?

Uh Ballmer has been consistently improving the brand and roster, while his counterpart was crying to try to hinder that. And congrats, you have the bigger names?

The only classless person I see in that video is Kawhi. People booing a classless player at a ball game is not classless. Its normal.

Wahhh, he didn't choose my team so he's classless Wahhh!

Nothing against Ballmer but the lakers have been doing things in the city of Los Angeles for decades,a few hit pieces for Ballmer isn't going to change that.

I’ve lived in LA for for about 4.5 years now, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a Clippers fan out in the wild, outside attending a playoff game once. In fact, I’ve seen far more LAFC (the new LA MLS team) support and gear than I have Clippers gear. I’ll never forget have during the playoff game I attended- a playoff game!- they were shooting off T-shirts and dropping parachutes of gift cards every single time out- stuff you’d expect a G-League team to be doing.

As much as I hate the Dodgers and Lakers, this will always be a Lakers and Dodgers-town (with a mere sprinkling of USC/UCLA fandom) and really nothing beyond that. LA obviously has the population, but not the sports fandom to support anything beyond that.

Not sure if you've noticed, but the Lakers ownership has changed with the passing of Dr Buss. The current ownership group has done absolutely nothing and has been on their hands while Ballmer is doing things on and off the court. The backpack giveaway, renovating courts and rec centers for kids after school, the pledge to the City of Inglewood. etc. I don't recall a single time I've ever received anything from the Lakers organization while growing up in the county, and my daughter comes home with a pair of backpacks?

It may not seem like much, but Ballmer is planting a seed in the minds of the youth, that will stick in the minds of some.

It isn't even a comparison in the ownership front.

I went to a Laker playoff game with a few buddies from work, sat in the 200s, and we were told to sit down as we were being too loud. That's G-League level right there. Shirts is the norm at all levels.

And LAFC is nothing more than a trend

im convinced a few clippers fans on message boards are like the customer service people for most major corporations
somewhere in mumbai with a accent , typing their little hearts away reading from a clipper shill script/outline
the real clipper fans wouldnt come in here hostile and post old outdated d12 banners or use the b-word but the ones who I recognize why you did, its because it hit close to your very soul that your idol is a mere mortal in his own home village, its almost sad or clipperish when you think about it.

I don’t see how anyone can make this claim with a straight face.

Seriously the Clippers gave been far better than the Lakers the last 6 years, yet the Lakers continue to outdraw them substantially in person and in local viewership.

The Dodgers went through the disastrous Frank McCourt era, where they were practically a laughingstock franchise, and still maintained very high ticket sales.

There is nothing that really supports them being considered a “front runner” town. You could say they are a Laker/Dodger town. They are the dominant franchises in the market. The Rams would be a distant 3rd.
I think it comes from the idea that football never really took root there. But yes it is loyal to the Lakers and Dodgers.

Lob City begs to differ. You have no idea how deep the Lakers are intertwined with LA.

Craving solitude and getting booed is vastly different. He and his Clippers family will ended up being either a tight group or struggle as outsiders in LA.

We will see how these boys handle the love they got from SAS/North and Indiana/OKC to nothing in LA. They should have just stayed quiet instead of turning their nose up on the Lakers. That’s just dumb in LA.
