Everything Paschke does is weird.

I was able to catch a little of the event towards the end, and saying it was weird doesn't do justice to how cringeworthy it is. I remember Paschke saying something to the effect of "you know, others call you Giannis, but I now call you Yanni. Do I call Thanasis something?" with every bit of the oddball inflection that you would expect from him.

I thought there were a few national media types, remember hearing someone identify themeselves as being from CBS sports or something. Whole affair seemed pretty bland, which is more or less what I expected.

Wouldn't Giannis committing be "tampering"

He doesn't want to make a commitment because he wants the Bucks to keep pushing and spending to keep him. If he commits they may rest on their laurels and not make a midseason trade that pushes them into the cap but also pushes them to win it all.

He's covering the midwest teams like Malika last season.

Kinda surprised ESPN haven't given someone a solo job to cover Giannis/the team permanently.

Players can't tamper but it would be about the worst thing he could say. If he says he's going to stay and then he leaves, Bucks fans would feel betrayed and hate him forever.

I thought Malika was going to get a full time gig here until that fateful question. Hope she has a splendid time talking to Kyrie Irving for the foreseeable future.

She'd have been better off actually reporting news instead of trying to invent news. Good riddance.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I’m pretty cynical but I think you guys are being paranoid. He said “when the time comes we will talk about it” in reference to not wanting to talk about it now and wanting to focus on winning a championship. It would be pretty foolish of him to say anything but that.

Honestly there was only one poster here who was worried. I'm confident he stays as I said we've done all the right moves IMO.

I think that Thorn thing was announced a month or more ago. Not sure why she's doing the tweet now, or if he's getting a different title. Maybe just the formal announcement. But I believe he's been out of the Bucks situation for at least a year now, others can confirm.

Think that's pretty harsh tbh. Just because you didn't like the news it doesn't mean some of it wasn't true.

me quickly trying to rationalize the Giannis contract talk:

Giannis: "I'm not going to have talks of this looming over our heads all season like it did w KD and GSW"

Hope that's all there is to it.
