bwgood77 wrote:I looked at him, and obviously love him as a player, and think he will be a block stud as well as FG%, rebounds and maybe steals...so those cats you need, but already have Gobert and shied away a little bit because I really need assists and also I know there are questions about his length, size, inability to shoot...while I have confidence the first two will likely be overcome and the last one can through hard work, I have been wrong once or twice.
I figured I'd get Barrett or Culver...I like Culver...he is a high % scorer, gets assists, is a good rebounder for his size and also gets steals and isn't bad with blocks as a guard. If he can get that 3 ball down, he will be nice.
I didn't like Barrett in the draft, but he will get points, assists, rebounds, etc...he could be a star and was #1 ahead of Zion coming into the college season. I would have been tempted to take him over Morant due to the fact he gets a lot of assists anyway and might have more star power and will be the main guy in NY, but his %s could suck, especially this year.

Thoughts on that?

I think that's a good idea.bwgood77 wrote:While we are in the beginning of the draft, I was thinking about the keeper thoughts, and was thinking that maybe next year people can drop to 7, but have an alternative of keeping their 8th, but if they do, they forfeit their first round draft pick.

I like that idea. I only had 7 keepers and was informed i had to choose another. PJ FREAKIN' Tucker, lol. He should NEVER be a keeper on any team, but my hand was forced and ive felt embarrassed ever since.

Yeah, I have Alex Len as my 8th.

Yep I like the idea too.
Surely Giles was a better option to keep? He’s got huge upside and way younger than Tucker

I went back and forth on that. He really really struggled last season, so much so i never really got a chance to even use him. He's going to struggle to find minutes with Ariza/Barnes/Bagley/Dedmon/Holmes playing the F/C spots. At least with Tucker i know he's going to get playing time and is top 10 in steals. Harden/Westbrook should also get him some nice wide open 3's as well. Had to go with the guaranteed playing-time/stats over a player with "potential" that has already burned me once before on a not as stacked squad.

Can you click on the google sheet in the first post? Look at the draft tab.....looks like he's the Fresh Princes and has pick 11.

It's actually pick number #10. If I get it right, the swap was Player X plus pick #10 for Player Y and pick #28.
wheezy, can you confirm?
