Don't like being swept to end the season. We close out the two we had 9th inning leads for, we've got a shot at the division tomorrow.

Oh well, hope the rest helps them going into Tuesday. Scherzer was my nightmare scenario. But hell, I didn't think they were going to get here a month ago.

So Woody and lots of bullpen. Maybe use Hader in the middle if we get in a real pressure situation? Just hope the bats get going early and the team has amnesia about what happened in Denver. Would be pretty excited to get another crack at LA if we win.

Nats are known playoff performers so we're basically no chance. Imo we may as well not show up.

I said it in the rockies series thread, but i wouldnt be surprised in the least if we have some success against scherzer after struggling against the lot of 6+ era starters in colorado.

Upside of expanded wild card - Brewers make postseason

Downside of expanded wild card - Series is one game, making the season a fart in the wind if you lose it.

Nonetheless, I'll take it. Go Brewers!

The problem is that even if we run Scherzer, we probably don't get to see their crappy bullpen. There is no reason for them to not then go Strausburg, on full rest.

But we can do the same by going Woody, Lyles, Suter, Hader.

They have one of the historically worst bullpens. Getting to them is the problem. Lifetime our guys are .182/.235/.578 against Scherzer and that INCLUDES Yelich .345/.389/1.146. Braun is 0-14, Cain is 0-15, Moose is 6-36.

Is Cain playing or he out? I dont have a great feeling on this one. Cool to have a shot though.

I mean yeah that’s the plan but that’s not the same.

In video today he took batting practice and after he was done said "good enough" so my guess is he gives it a go

Shaw lol. Hopefully he's not on the roster for the Dodgers series.

This is fun. Who actually believed they would still be playing? I sure didn't.
