Also, how was Arcia allowed to hit there with the season on the line?

Well, this frees up my October. The NBA season can't come soon enough.

I doubt I’ll watch any. Bring on the Bucks. Tired of Brewers “star” closers blowing it again and again and again, can never trust these relievers.

That Rockies' series sunk the Brewers from multiple perspectives. Killed momentum and didn't give them at least 2 bites at the apple. After the great run to make it in any sort of playoffs they choked to not make the real thing. It was right in front of them. Played much better as the chaser than the chased, within games as well.

Kinda crazy how it seemed like maybe it was our year, to having the rug taken out from under us in the most brutal way

I wrote the season off from an actual competitive standpoint months ago, so now I’m just irritated I got my hopes up again. And now I’m irritated all over again that we didn’t sell at the deadline.

What a **** end to the season, to get your hopes up and have them so quickly burned away.

They had the division and this one in their hands despite being beaten and broken. Commend them for that but man that's two brutal finishes with Hader on the mound.

Id say trade hader but no team will give up anything of value for that choke artist.

I kind of wish they didn't even make the "playoffs", one game and to choke a whole season away like that is beyond brutal.

Open scrimmage Sunday so it's 5 days with the way the Brewers game just ended.

I thought Hader had developed a 2nd reliable pitch, but maybe it was just a flash in the pan. Either way, it would greatly benefit him and the team to incorporate something that goes straight down, like the curve or change. Not only does it better complement the high fastball, but also gives him a way to get 2 outs at once to get out of jams, like the vast majority of pitchers. He is a singular out guy. Extra ab's where something can go awry.

Craig had a lot of residual confidence in him. Many here didn't want to see him go 2. Can't argue w/ 1. He couldn't get out of that, but you never know how things go w/ an easier part of the lineup, and knowing there's not another inning ahead.

Told myself it was house money til the 6th and I started to think playoffs. It sucks but I'm going to get over it. Good run.
