Will Dante ever be as good as Brogdon was last season?

If he can stay healthy, yes.

If Dante's shot translates, he could be better. He's a much better athlete and willing passer. Also, I think he can be just as good defensively.

Delaware Ali G doesn’t need to be as good as Brogdon right now. If he’s a dude who every team in the league would be cool playing for 28 minutes every night that’d be massive.

I sure hope that he’s worked on his game as hard but from what little I remember about his game from watching him years ago he reminded me of connaughton more than brogdon

He definitely has a little bit more quick twitch ability and then Patty does.

He’s a better leaper certainly, but I wouldn’t say a much better athlete. Brogdon is strong and quick as hell.

Donte is someone who has a higher ceiling than Brogdon due to instinct and athletic ability. I don't think anyone thought Brogdon would turn out to be this good of a shooter though.

The one thing I noticed when Donte was healthy early in the year was his defensive and offensive instincts were off the charts. He seemed to play at a different speed than a lot of guys out there. I hope he can stay healthy, if he finds his stroke, he's going to be dangerous.

I'm just out here hoping Donte can eventually be the best ginger SG taken in the 15-20 range of the 2018 draft.

"If his shot can translate" is a huge if. But we have Korver now so everyone on our team should see their 3pt% improve by at least 5 points from what I understand. With Donte it needs to be more like 10, though.

If he can hit his three reasonably well and stay healthy, Donte is a starter on this team.

Donte also lead the team in shooting at the rim.
