I wanted Lauri in the draft, and I think he looks great already, and the Bulls have a solid future offensive option in him. If the Bulls can ever find a coach to pull them together the way Clifford has for us, he will be very good.
But Isaac isn't a disappointment. He still has a long way to go offensively, but Siakam should stand as a perfect example of a similarly built and skilled player coming on as a more aggressive and dominant scorer at an older age than Isaac is now. It's too early to discount that part of Isaac's game. Regardless, Isaac is still finding a way to contribute to the team with his sensational defense, and being an active body on offense who moves and gets open.
End result, I think both teams should be stoked with both players, and had the picks been reversed, I think the same should still apply. They're both great prospects who just come in very different flavours, but both have skillsets that can help their team.
