They only rave about them when they are not on the knicks. Not trying to hear it.

hill is winnng on twitter. i think i would go penny though. those first couple of years in orlando it looked like they were gonna take over the league. for hill to matter, you gotta vote hill & tmac.

now that i think about it, orlando has had some real bad luck. they were close to having dynasty-like talent combos multiple times.

they almost had duncan, hill, mcgrady. all 3 healthy could have been the best superteam ever.

And Shaq

Shaq was long gone by then.

To be honest, I've always wondered this.

I've heard so many theories over the years.

Talking about the possibility of what could have been... but Shaq always wanted big money so even in that time it’d be almost impossible to aquire all 4 of them

And Shaq

Shaq was long gone by then.

Just a friendly reminder..... THJ still has two years left on his contract.

no. the early days of webber and penny there was no comparison who was better. penny was really good. for a couple years he was the most popular player in the league. there was a time when washington had webber, sheed and juwan howard and juwan howard was the best player. the knicks used to abuse the hell out of them. it took webber a minute to really come into his own.

Also the whole big point guard and center thing is always a deadly star combo.

His tiers
Spoiler:
Tier 1: Top title contenders
LA Clippers
Los Angeles Lakers
Milwaukee Bucks
Philadelphia 76ers
Utah Jazz
Provisional status: Houston Rockets

Prove it
Denver Nuggets

Strongish playoff teams/The East stinks again
Boston Celtics
Miami Heat
Brooklyn Nets
Orlando Magic

Borderline playoff teams
Indiana Pacers
Toronto Raptors
Detroit Pistons
Chicago Bulls
Golden State Warriors
Portland Trail Blazers
Dallas Mavericks
San Antonio Spurs
New Orleans Pelicans
Sacramento Kings

Netherworld of the West
Minnesota Timberwolves
Oklahoma City Thunder

The rest
New York Knicks
Atlanta Hawks
Cleveland Cavaliers
Washington Wizards
Phoenix Suns
Memphis Grizzlies
Charlotte Hornets

The small Knicks portion

Spoiler:
The Knicks seem to think they have a 35-win team that might approach .500. Fine. It's the East. Someone bad is sneaking into the potato sack race for No. 8. The bigs they added are all useful despite some positional overlap that isn't super convenient for Mitchell Robinson (or those who want to see Kevin Knox play more power forward, which I could take or leave). Most of the big-big pairings are semi-workable.

Wayne Ellington adds needed shooting, especially with both Reggie Bullock and Damyean Dotson dealing with some nicks. Maybe FIBA Frankie Smokes is a thing?

The guard and wing play -- the engine of most functional offenses -- is just so uncertain. Julius Randle might be New York's best shot creator, which is not on its face a bad thing. I just see a 27-30-win team, and most projection systems agree.

I'd move Denver into title contenders. They are stacked. I'd move MIA down to borderline playoffs and move up POR / GSW / IND / TOR to strongish playoff teams.

Knicks could be in the borderline playoff category if RBJ is able to adapt quickly / They maximize Randle at the 5 when Mitch is off the floor / they flip one of the more useless signings to get some help

I just saw a pic on Twitter showing Vince on Toronto vs this year. On Toronto, he was an old looking young guy. Now he's a young looking old guy.

Like, he looks different but the same age as he did. My concern is he might not be human. Discuss.

pascal wants a max contract, their gm is only committed till 2020-21, and next season is a weak free agency.

perfect time to screw them with an unmovable contract and bounce. Image
