3 up, 3 down for Keuchel. 3 ground outs.

1-0 Braves Donaldson grounds into FC to 2b, Albies scores on throwing error by Wong to 2b, everybody safe.

8 pitch 2nd inning for Keuchel, ground ball 2 hopper to the pitcher, fly out to RF, line out to CF, Acuna with the sliding catch running in on the ball. 1-0 Braves middle of the 2nd

Mac lead off the 2nd with a dbl, after Swanson fly out to RF, Keuchel misses the sign, and drops a bunt, Mac out at 3rd. Braves get nothing out of the inning. 1-0 end of the 2nd

Keuchel gets in a 2 on 1 out jam, but gets the 5-3 double play!

Keuchel gets into another jam, 2 on with no outs, but once again gets a 5-3 double play, followed by a walk and ground out to 2b. 1-0 Braves end of the 3rd

Cardinals tie it up, Kecuhel can't get out of the 5th, 4.2 IP. We can't let them steal this game. 1-1

Acuna with a 2 out dbl to LCF, Albies weak pop fly to 1b.

Braves score 2 in the 6th!!! Swanson grounded into fielder's choice to third, Donaldson scored on error by third baseman Edman and Markakis scored on throwing error by shortstop DeJong, Duvall to second. 3-1 Braves end of the 6th

Fried with a shutdown 8 pitch 7th inning!

Luke Jackson allows a solo HR, and 2 singles. Snit going to the pen for Melancon for a 4 out save. 3-2 Braves

Cardinals tie it, 3-3

Ozuna 2 run dbl, 5-3 in the 9th Acuna admiring a ball he hit and not hustling has killed us again.

Snit leaves Melancon in too long and they get two more. 7-3 Cardnials.


Acuna killed us.

Cardinals win 7-6. Acuna's hot dogging, show boating in the 7th, on what should have been a lead off double, cost us the game. Pure and simple. Sure we could blame Luke Jackson or Melancon, but the pressure isn't on them, if Acuna hustles out of the box.


Acuna's teammates and coaching staff are pissed and they let him know it after the game.


Relief pitcher Chris Martin will miss the rest of the post season with an oblique strain. It happened on his final warm up pitch. Snit was hoping to close out with him and Melancon, but after injury had to go to Jackson. Jackson allowed solo HR to Goldy out of the gate, followed by 3 singles in between two outs, forced Snit to see if Melancon could get a 4 out save.


The Braves will likely replace Martin on the roster with Teheran, who didn't make the postseason roster. Teheran might also start game 4, if Snit decides to leave Fried in the pen.
