Konate can't shoot

You know Poetl was a pretty solid young player for someone that didn't really shoot at that time. We might need a guy just like that where they get minutes to get stops and stay the helll away from trying to finish anything other than garbage put backs.
Problem is when one dimensional players have to also learn the game and the system which means look for him to beast in 905.

Poeltl shot 0 3s in college and 60% from the line

Konate shot 80% from the line his last 2 college seasons and was shooting the 3 and a pretty good clip until he got injured 39% at 3 attempts a game.

I think Konate should be able to shoot like mid 30s from 3 at least.

This drill also not really for bigs, coming off a screen and shooting contested (barely I know) isn’t not really anything he will do in game.

Good observation. Watching Konate shoot 3s in college, he is more of a 'JV 3' type, meaning he only takes 3s when he is left open, and its a slow standing shot - he doesn't purposely look to take a 3.

Miller's release looks so fast in that video. Was it always like that? I always liked his game, but he never seemed to hit 3's in actual games.

Hopefully, they use McCaw as 3rd PG, he seems to have more feel for running an offense. I think his ball handling is good enough.
Taylor is trash, Payne is a SG in a PG body, TDJ needs more experience in this role.

I don't get the hype behind kanate. That knee doesn't look like it's going to hold up, and I don't see him making the cut. To be honest I see him as 905 bound on a regular D league contract.

I see what you're saying... It's his nature and a little the way he carries himself, his body movements and a bit the tone of his voice.

But nah, he's a closet playa - the most deadly kind of playa around. You have to observe him in his natural habitat. The closet playa says nothing, does nothing and seems a little soft but if you leave him alone with your girl, she is his girl now. Women get comfortable around a closet play and that's when he strikes because he believe any girl, is his girl.
