So true. I remember Clifford tempering everyone's expectations for Bamba all last training camp lol.

That's a good point. The good news is that he has been pretty positive about Bamba so far even saying today he feels like he has gotten stronger and taken a step forward. All signs right now are pointing to Fultz being ready to go. We will get to see just how ready he is soon enough (Hopefully Saturday).

Now for the fun part...

Does he start? Does he come off the bench? Does he play a lot? Does he barely play?

And then of course the really big question... how does he look? Is he willing to shoot a three?

I'm so pumped about this.

I'm not sure if it's genius or just luck that Fultz's first game is a non-televised preseason game. I'm not sure there's much less pressure outside of Summer League than here. So let's see what the kid has. I think trading Simmons and what'll end up being 3 2nds belonging to other teams is worth it even if he doesn't pan out...if only for the excitement of now.

I think he'll be a scorer for this team. Cliff will give him the green light to create everytime he has the ball. I wouldn't be surprised to see him have some 30 and 40 point games this year.

Hoooooo boy! I am so excited for what Fultz can bring this team, even if it's only what he was bringing to Philly the last couple of seasons (minus the injuries). I can't wait to see him get in the paint and start disrupting defenses.

I bought low on a bunch of his rookie cards when the first video of him shooting came out this summer. They look nice alongside my Penny collection.

not so sure about that. the only green lights are to players he trusts. He doesnt know Fultz enough yet

not sure i understand this. He didnt bring anything really to Philly. he couldnt shoot 3's, wasnt drawing fouls, obviously his shot in general was an issue. what do you think he brought to PHilly his 2 seasons (33 games) there?

the way Orlando fans run players out of town that arent stars immediately, I expect the fan base to turn on him if he isnt scoring over 15 ppg by december.

He played like a watered down smaller version of Simmons, he could still get into the lane. It's not like he was trash, he got a triple double in limited minutes. Per 36 his rookie year he was 14, 7.5, 6. Second year 13, 6, 5. I'm not arguing he was good by any means but it's not like he stood in the corner and just provided nothing like Tony Snell.
