Monday night folks, going to get to see #4 Hunter, #10 Reddish going against #1 Zion and #8 Hayes. Great 1st pre season game to watch as a Hawks and Pelicans fan. Should be a fun game for the NBA in general.

Kevin Porter Jr. has been one of the stars of Cavs training camp, prompting multiple teammates and staff members to throw big expectations on him already.

"[Porter] is good. But I think he has a chance to be great," said teammate Larry Nance. Another Cavs source believes that Porter Jr. will be the steal of the draft. A hip flexor injury is part of the reason Cleveland was able to snag him with the final pick of the first round this past June. "Particularly over the last couple of weeks when we’ve had him with us he’s made great jumps right now in his efficiency, his footwork, his shooting, everything," coach John Beilein said. Even with all of the praise sent Porter Jr.'s way, the Cavs will be diligent to not give him too much work too early. He's a late-round lottery ticket in re-draft leagues, but he's a name to target in any dynasty or keeper format.

There is just something ascetically pleasing about Zion's layups. The way the dude just glides just looks weird for a dude his size.

PJ Washington looks like a baby Al Horford

edit: 15/4/1 with 6/6 FG, 3/3 from 3PT at the half!

PJ Washington with 15/4/1 with a block at the half, 3-3 from 3...he really became a legit 3 pt shooter second half of the season for Kentucky, has good ball skills for a PF and real NBA length...he's gonna be a good one, really a perfect PF for today's NBA.

That first step in the second clip, damn, might be just as fast as Allen Iverson at his peak, and Zion is a lot taller and a lot beefier. The kid is an athletic marvel.

Ja look great yesterday.

-His shooting is not as bad as people make it.
- Turn over machine in the making ...this only gets fix with experience.
-Below average defense.

I don't know about Wins when it comes to Ja but he sure in entertaining.

which Rookie in this class do you see having G.O.A.T conversation potential?

No one.

So why was that brought up about rookies taking teams to the playoffs? What point were you driving home?

Probably Zion, but I think Michael Porter Jr. might get significant minutes and be a bigger player in the race than people seem to think.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. He's like if ZBo had a 40 inch vertical. Doesn't look natural lol.

Yeah, he looked good in scrimmage and summer league, but he's better than ZBo. He's more like Charles Barkley because he's got handles and can play and look like a point guard at times.

looks like he's still working off some of the excess. Once he's back into playing shape things are gonna get scary.
