Looking at the schedule before the season, I think we'd all take 4-1 at this point. I had us at 3-2.

Yeah, I'm happy. Unfortunately this isn't our toughest stretch. @KC, @LAC, CAR, Bye, and @SF is brutal if not for the bye. I'd settle for 2-2

I'll be at that one, so definitely gonna win that particular game.

I know this wouldn't happen but if they expand the schedule I could see teams doing this in the future If the packers are 6-1 going to kc with a 2 game lead in division and possible 1 seed I wouldnt be mad if they sat guys. Nonconference road games against a top team would be an ideal time for load management.

4-1 with 4 of the 5 opponents being good enough that nobody would be shocked if they all made the POs

4-1 with this schedule while working in a new offensive scheme is utterly amazing and shouldnt be downplayed

PHI, MIN, CHI and DAL are def all quality teams. I’d even argue DEN is better than their record (tho not by too much).

I'll be curious to see how Jenkins grades out today. He looked pretty good early on

Same here. Passed the eye test and then some. He was a great pick by Gutey, but could be a sensational one if he can continue to get the job done inside this early in his career.

Really impressed with the interior run blocking. Jones had creases made for him all day. Jenkins seemed to double NT and then move into LB quite a bit. I am pretty meh about Vitale as a lead blocker.

We need Z's injury to not be serious. Kevin King needs to work on his hands.

I agree 100%. Only bad pass was the under throw to MVS that we eventually scored a TD on anyway. I still think we need a legit #2 receiver though. But I loved how MLF adjusted to Adams absence. Feed jones baby!

I'm sure that's the first thing he'll tell his wife when he gets home.

I'd be kinda disappointed if he waited all the way until he got home to tell her. Pretty sure he called her and let her know immediately after the game.

The Chargers lost at home to the Broncos today and I'll tale Carolina at home in November. We'll probably lose to the Chiefs but San Francisco has beaten winless Cincinnati, 1-4 Pittsburgh and 2-3 Tampa.

KC and San Fran are both really good teams imo and Charger games are always **** weird with Rivers torching us

This game just shows how bad we need to trade for a WR. The WRs had 55 yards combined.

I like MVS because it seems like he gets open downfield a lot, but yes, we need 2 reliable receivers for every down. Adams and Sanders would be perfect :droop:

I don't care that Dallas closed the gap. We went in and grabbed control early and beat a good team on the road. We're 2/2 beating quality teams at their place. Love it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yep. Sucks that the Broncos won today, Sanders would have been a great get at a pretty low price. Still possible, I guess. AJ Green? Robby Anderson? I wonder who's available.

Coming from the self appointed America's Team this is priceless.

Stressful finish but I'll gladly take a win on the road against a potential playoff caliber team and I'll take 4-1 given all 4 teams we beat should be fighting for playoff spots at season's end.

4-1 with games against Minnesota, Chicago, Philly, and Dallas. Really hard to complain about that at this point. Any of us would have taken that before the season started. That's a pretty brutal opening run.
