This is dope but the real prize match would be OG vs Marc.

Dunno if it's been posted but did the Raptors ever give the "Official Heights" of everyone?

Who else feels like Siakam is gonna measure out to be 6’8?

I feel like Siakam has such lanky limbs that it gives off the illusion that he’s taller than he actually is.

Well I mean what gives Siakim and other players a huge advantage is not their height, but their wingspan.

I think even guys like Curry and Lowry, even though maybe a bit shorter, have pretty long wingspans relative to their height.

Kawhi also has a disproportionately long wing-span and huge hands. So while Kawhi is about 6'7-6'8, his wingspan is close to that of a 7 footer and his hands are nearly as big as Shaqs.

Not saying it’s a bad thing. One of the best defenders in our generation (Draymond Green) was just measured at 6’5.

Just crazy how there’s such big discrepancies.

The “new” heights are just the player measurements w/o shoes on.

We already have that data for a vast majority of players (whoever attended the combine)

You are correct that Siakams height will be 6’8 because he measured at 6’8.25” w/o shoes in 2016

If that's the case im not Shocked at all. I've never been sold on tunnel vision powell being consistent for a whole season. He'll give you flashes during the season and the playoffs, but it's never consistent for the whole season. That's a 6 man at best. McCaw must have impoved his shooting a lot because I predicted Thomas would have taken Norms starting spot.

Because McCaw has been a symbol for consistency right? lol

Again idk how people decide who they support because it's clearly not talent.

I think Norm might be better than Demar.

Anyways - i dunno who ends up starting and finishing games but imo most of the rotation players are clear right now....

Gasol
Ibaka
Siakam
Norm
Lowry
VanVleet

So that's 6.

To get that up to an 8 or 9 man rotation my faves are...

Boucher
OG
Davis

And tbh I think OG might be last on that list, not first.

I'm not high on jefferson or johnson or McCaw at all. Emergency defensive matchups at best I think. I wouldn't be surprised if guys like miller and thomas were more useful this year, given that depth scoring might be a bigger need.

OG will settle back into his role and get to be the 5th option on offense when he is on. We kind of need him for our sizey wing match ups, as we don’t really want pascal taking on those assignments until the end of games. Norm has been the one breakout player so far, but it has been just two games. The game does seem a lot slower for him now though.

I think we need to fast track Terrence and give him a 15 to 20 min a night role that Delon used to have as norm is going to have to play a lot of 3. We need OG to give us at SF what scola used to give us at the 4, and when he’s having a good night we can roll with him. McCaw plays when injuries and foul trouble occur. Same with Boucher. That top 6 all needs 30 mins a game basically.

OG will be fine. His defensive bite in tandem with our scoring depth, will afford him the time to sort out his offensive role. He'll be getting plenty of dishes from a double-teamed Siakam.

Kawhi-lessness on the back of a championship winning season is going to be serious fun.
