I can see those 2 getting some Rotation minutes.
Could Waters make Wannamaker expendable, if they want a slot for Green?
Wannamaker is insurance - if Kemba or Smart get hurt he will need to play. I should say when....because it is inevitable that Smart plays less than 82 games. I don’t think Carson or Waters are ready to play NBA level quarterback. Realistically though, he is not in picture long term. Semi Ojeleye is another possibility. I think Danny should trade him .... he isn’t making his shots and his defense isn’t that good but honestly don’t see that happening. Green impressed me in SL and today he was lights out. If Hayward or Brown leave at end of year or at trade deadline, he is a legit backup prospect at wing. He is most exciting dunker on the roster. I honestly think Strus is the guy to go. I like the idea of him.....but he is just this year’s Abdel Nader.
Celtics would be insane to let Tacko go. He may not make it and even if he does, his ceiling in today’s NBA could be very low. Yet, as long as he keeps improving..who can say for sure? That followup dunk tonight wasn’t even on radar in SL. He is just too much of a phenom and a marketer’s dream to let go.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
