You would never know we had a young Center who was a top ten pick and has showed a lot of potential. Why not give him first team reps?

WCJ is hurt (bruised tailbone) and will not be playing. And Kornet is out with turf toe.

But I agree with you - anyone is preferable to Felicio. Thad, Lauri or Gafford come to mind.

It’s probably about getting the second unit to gel. Might as well have one group play together as they might during the season.

No, I can't do this. He hasn't, and he isn't. It's preseason, but still, to start Felicio is slap to the face with a wet kitchen towel.

I couldn't care less about Felicio, although his extra weight may make a difference if it means that he needs an extra seat on the bench.

Lauri being at 227 is significant however. Hopefully it will make him quicker on the perimeter defense. I know he said he worked this summer on getting stronger, not necessarily bigger. We'll find out soon enough.

Maybe by starting Felicio, they suck with Dunn out there, which creates a favorably comparison when WCj comes back and Sato startes.

Lets all hope this team has now bottomed out, and this is the season where the rebuild finaly starts to turn the corner a bit.

I was expecting to see alittle more last year, I thought they were going to start very slow and finish strong. This season my expectations have been lowered a bit, but I would like to see them challenge the 40 win mark, and win aproximately 1/2 there games.

For some reason the Bulls seem invested in creating the appearance that they gave Dunn every shot at the starting job.

And starting him with Felicio is a sure way to ensure that the Dunn-led first team plays poorly.

This is how I am dealing with my cognitive dissonance to this news, and my strong preference for Sato as the starter.

Although, from the FO perspective. Hard to save face when you have a guy on a $32Million contract and you can't start him over a 2nd round rookie who's never played a minute. It's a "save face" kind of move. Watch Felicio just go out there and kill it now with a 20/10 game. lol.

I don't mind Gafford getting minutes with the other backups. Might help build chemistry with the guys he likely to play with in the regular season.
