Thank you, Judge. Now let's get out of this inning.

There we go. Great job, Green.

Didi!

Maybin makes his mark on the series!

Aight. Now we sit back, watch the Rays and Astros bash each other and then destroy whatever remains. I hope Astros burn Verlander out.

Don't think anyone around here thought the Yankees would lose to the Twins though even with how good of a season the Twins just had. The hurdle to the World Series is still the Astros, despite the fact that they lost today.

I hope we don’t have to listen to Smoltz in the next series. He’s the worst.

Did we already forget the wars those games in Minnesota were a month or two ago?

Nobody said they were easy, what was said was that they are the easiest matchup for us out of the remaining teams. Did you forget how bad Oakland spanked us, or how Astros already have our number these last couple years, or how Rays just shut us out. I think we match up with Twins the best and they don't have the pitching these other teams have.

Thank you Yanks for proving my point lol I wanted the Twins all along, we matched up with them the best. Now we get some rest, I just hope we dont be rusty by Saturday. Come on Rays make it interesting. Seems like every team starters are only pitching 4 innings, got to accept this is a bullpen game now and that is one of our strengths, might work out for us.

Smoltz hates the Yankees. He's always negative on just about everything Yankee related.

The thing is now that we swept this series now Paxton could possibly pitch 3 times in the series, Tanaka for 2 games, and Severino for 2. At least Houston has to play 2 games in Tampa bad things happen in that place, of course I'm not wishing injury maybe a long game and the lights go out or something in that **** hole of a stadium. The thing is how perfect can Verlander and Cole continue to be, I'm hoping Verlander and Cole throw 100 plus pitches, but nonetheless its nice to sit back and be the only team in the LCS right now and watch everyone else battle it out.

Obviously still here  8-)

But seriously I'm very happy to be dead wrong about LeMahieu which was my main gripe. I'm still slightly nervous that the pitching staff is going to come back down to earth but like i said before the playoffs started... This is the most confident I've been about a Yankee team in a long time.

Severino is the true ace of the staff and last night showed that. Getting out of that jam with the bases loaded was pure grit. He's really the X factor of this team.

I like Smoltz as an analyst, but he always shows his true colors when he’s commenting on the Yankees.

I remember 2 yrs ago in the ALCS, I think Verlander threw a strike but the ump called it a ball, and Smoltz let out a noticeable “ugh”. It was insane.
