It is not much of a statement to say that adding another top 7 player in the league to a team with the best player in the league puts us in the finals. I think this context makes very little sense.

Yeah this comment read as "if they had AD instead of Giannis" not Giannis and AD on the same team.

Hm I don't think so.

I’m with B2TW on this one. Totally think Rich Paul meant it as a “AD instead of Giannis”, otherwise why would he say “Thats not a knack on Giannis” about it?

I think he's just a weird guy. I agree it makes no sense to think it's a knock on Giannis. Clearly we would have won.

With AD instead of Giannis? Like Rich Paul meant? Nah.

Well I guess we can rule out Giannis jumping ship to Klutch anytime soon (or the Lakers). Honestly, thanks RP for saying this. The Kostas/LAL connection was worrying me a bit

"He's just as talented as anyone who's ever played this game," Paul says. "Six-11, makes 3s, blocks shots. I think he's one of the better passing big men in our game. In my opinion, this is what makes him different from Giannis[Antetokounmpo].

"Like, if you put Anthony Davis on that Bucks team last year, they'd be playing in the Finals. He knows how to make guys better. That's not a knock to Giannis, but that's just what [I think]."

Lots of evidence out there that Davis can bring a team to the finals.

This is why the NCAA wanted agents to go to college.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

Very brave of him to take that position.

Why did he feel the need to go there? Could it be that Giannis turned down solicitations from Klutch?

Giannis is the reigning MVP and the new standard. "X is better than Giannis", from the minds behind "I feel I'm the best player in this draft."

Giannis' signature shoe selling the way it does might have something to do with this. 8-)

By the end of this season (and Giannis may not win MVP), Giannis will be recognized by a consensus as the best player in the world. Then the backlash will take on its final form.

But he's a potential client, why name him & tell him publicly that AD is better than you are? Unless you know he's committed to his agent & not you moving forward.

It's pretty weird how LeBron and his business buddies are just allowed to circumvent tampering rules using Klutch as essentially an independent PR firm. It's almost as if certain driving forces within the league office know that this kind of stuff and all this superstar collusion fuels casual fan interest, and they just conveniently look the other way or something....

"Knows how to make guys better" is really only something a select few of guys can do. Not sure AD or Giannis are on the level of Lebron or Steph in that sense.

AD instead of Giannis in that Toronto matchup would've been interesting. AD not as limited offensive. He's a little bigger and stronger too. So maybe that helps?

Don't really get people saying AD isn't as limited. Can he shoot better? Of course. He's also not the skilled finisher or open court terror that Giannis is.
