This is probably why the Yankees weren't so keen on winning the last 3 or 4 games. Beat the Twins quick and rest up.

I know what your trying to do and I’ll give an A for effort but I’m not falling for your trap. Your trying to jinx the Yankees .

Now that the series is over I’ll talk about the ALCS most likely against Astros.

Yep. Also, I'm in the business of trying to win the World Series year after year. Call me spoiled, but that's what the Yankees are known for. I'm really not sure why we have fans celebrating a division victory or an ALDS victory. Our standards have not fallen that low. We're not the Mets.

This is why you wrap up a series asap, we dont sweep the Twins, they have momentum and another home game, possibly Happ in game 4 against Berrios, of course you leave open the possibility of more injuries and vulnerabilities for teams to capitalize on.

I'm being silly when I say that every time. Just a nice reminder of how divided the fan base was during the winter.

Well that was unexpected. The look on some of the Astros players faces after the game we as interesting. Like they were in shock. Come on Ray's! Close this out!

Man we have to give some props to the Rays, I really hope they can pull this off , that would be a huge upset. So glad they rocked Verlander with his cocky attitude, so now if the Astros advance then Verlander will most likely pitch the 1st game on Saturday which will be a 4 days rest. And Cole will most likely not pitch on Sunday on 3 days rest so we will face Grienke in game 2 and he got smoked the other day. But hopefully the Rays just kill them the next game again so we won't have to worry about that annoyingly great team and we can take a few millions off of Cole salary when we sign him for pitching bad in a big game .

Can't lie...would love to have Greinke at Yankee stadium. Just to remind him why he has us on his no-trade list

Praying the Rays do the job tomorrow.

I don't care who we face. Stay focused. Our hitting has taken over games that our pitching kept us in.

Houston/Tampa are using bullets in a long war. Yankees are resting up. The key is to stay focused during the break.
