Washington are really in for a tough year. Won’t be surprised if they try trading Beal at the deadline.

Mo Bamba with another good game. If Danny doesn't call Orlando soon, we won't have a shot at him. His value is going up while Jaylen's will plummet.

That’s a steal for Orlando IMO.
If they were willing to give up both Gordon & Bamba I’d think about it though.

Watching Orlando highlights thinking we're f*cked - Gordon is going to turn out to be the best player from his draft, Fultz made a couple of plays looking like he wasn't overhyped after all, Isaac is ready, Bamba is going to be an impact 5.

Meanwhile we're waiting on Tatum's physical development while he has Isaac nipping at his heels, Jaylen is still learning how to dribble, and Orlando has four legit blue-chip players under 25.

I said before the draft in 2017 that Isaac could turn out to be the best player, but Jesus.. he's got Tatum beat on size, strength, handles, awareness, and defensive impact..

Preseason is usually when players try new offensive moves to evade defenders like Harden's one-footed stepback three. This whack-a-mole move from Mook might have been a tad too much...

Okafor and Bender had good lines last night.

Tatum is perfectly fine in his development. He is a stud. Isaac will not be as good as tatum. And if he is who cares. Tatum's a star.

Jaylen is not learning how to dribble. He ran pg for pop in the summer do you honestly believe that pops is suck an idiot that he would have a player who cannot dribble run point for him?

Honestly.

Tatum is fine. Isaac could be better, I said so at the draft - but Tatum was the right pick - he had a much higher floor.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rui Hachimura had interesting games last night. NAW benefited from the fast pace, but his strengths held up in summer league and they've held up so far in preseason - he's also still able to finish at the rim the way he did in college, without having much lift. Hope we were right to take Langford over him.

And Jaylen's not a good ball handler. And his on-court awareness is poor. He's working on both. I would've traded him for Barrett. Looks like we could've traded him for Cam Reddish, too.

Jaylen is a perfectly fine ball handler. He will have a Demar Derozan type of impact with much superior defense and outside shooting, but worse FT shooting. What is wrong with that?

And why trade him for anyone when what is needed in the lineup is an exact trait that Jaylen brings to it?

Tatum is better than everyone in the Magic squad. Jaylen probably sits around 3rd or at worst 4th. Can we relax for abit guys? The grass isn’t always greener.

yeah, people list all the things Isaac is better at but missing the glaring weakness compared. JT is a shooter, and will always be way better at it than Isaac. Not saying he's bad shooter, but Tatum is a great shooter. He had a bad shooting night last preseason game and next thing you know he has 20 points in 23 mins on 8-14 shooting. Like you just expect every time he shoots for it to go in. He was only 3-8 from 3. As open as he was, I would say he should have been 4-8. He's just that good.

Now, if your team didn't need shooting. I agree, Isaac checks all the boxes over JT. But shooting is huge in the NBA and roster makeup.

Tatum most definitely has the potential to be better than everyone on the Magic squad, but right now Vucevic and Gordon are better

Looks like Simmons has improved the technique of his jump shot from last year. Looks a bit like Harden too.

I agree with this. It’s up to him now to get better.

Al Horford spilling some tea from last year. Reload, proving again that he's a legit insider.
