I mean it makes you think if guys like Muggsy Bogues or Earl Boykins were listed in their w/shoes height. It’s nothing short of incredible that they played in the NBA.

Ben Gordon might be 6’0” or 5’11” if they pushed that measuring shelf thing they have at doctors’ offices down hard on his head.

Oh Felicio.

Felicio is having the time of his life. Gets paid millions, eats what he wants, and gets to watch NBA basketball from front row seats.

Interesting that KD got downgraded to 6'9". I feel like sometimes people say he's 6'11, 7 feet. I'd like to retroactively measure Scottie Pippen. He was always listed at 6'7" but looked taller. Rodman always says Pippen's 6'9" and I believe in 2K he's also listed as 6'8".

Bagley downgraded to 6'8" is surprising. He isn't not long at all for a modern PF. Actually undersized.

The Kings insist he's 6'11"

The Kings told The Sacramento Bee they correctly listed Bagley at 6-11 and Hield at 6-4 in the pregame notes they distributes to the media and their preseason media guide, but some people weren’t buying it in online discussions.

So have the Kings sent the League the correct measurements or have they not? Very confusing. There is no way in hell Bagley is 6'11'', that's laughable.

Pippen was inches taller than MJ for sure. MJ barefoot was 6’4” and change. Pippen barefoot would be all of hismlistd 6’7” if not a bit more.

Okay maybe im a little insecure when it comes to certain player's heights and i understand the angle something something but Coby looks pretty big here.

Yeah he does. Some is angle but LaVine looks too short. I mean Sato looks big against most PG’s on court and White looks to be not that much shorter. I think White looks smaller on the court because of his wing span it gives the illusion he isn’t as tall as he is.

Him and Shaq are the closest to the camera. Things that are closer look bigger than things that are further.

While determining how tall someone is from a photo, one should allow for a margin of error of at least 5 inches.

In the context of basketball, height is not really an important measurement anyway. What it does is give is a rough estimate on the player's wingspan and standing reach, which are important, but can and should be measured separately.
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.
