Love Bobby Knuckles but can't say I'm disappointed in the belt being turned over to someone who will actually defend it. Calling out Borrachina right away as opposed to Conor/Jones/GSP/whatever other weird sh*t was awesome. Also, something tells me Israel isn't going to disappear for a year a la Usman either.

You must've really hated Jason 'Mayhem' Miller back in the day.

One of my most hated people in the sport. Dude was a complete joke.

Izzy's head movement is crazy good. Whittaker needed to try and switch it up and try and take Izzy down. You cant just keep firing in like that over and over again against a striker like Izzy.

This sport is a weird one. I was a Mayhem fan back in the day and it's sad to see how he's gone off the deep end.

I think that there should be more room for pageantry in the sport. That is what made PRIDE so great. It needs to feel like a spectacle because it is. It's the greatest fighters on the planet fighting each other.

Jones fights kinda stupid though. He's been getting into standup "wars" and not using his grappling nearly enough. Izzy seems to understand how to control distance and would do damage to Jones. Real interesting.

Him challenging Jones is bringing something out of Jon IMO.

That is what I thought too. Not enough power or strength. But he keeps winning. And has been winning for a long time prior to UFC. Hope he stands up for a while longer. Good for NZ.

You could see Bobby eff up his knee a minute or two before the KO. it meant him staying in the pocket too long and trying to trade back and forth, suicide.

Damn, Serra-Longo is the worst camp.

Congrats Izzy. Sorry to see my guy lose but hats off on a very impressive performance.

I didn’t think he could knock him out but wow. His precision is amazing.

Serra-Longo just did not take that loss to Cowboy seriously. DURING that fight, they were garbage. Between rounds amounted to little more than, "hoo ra, do it for Ronkonkoma". No technical adjustments, just, "get in his face, take it to him". And in the aftermath, too. Serra on his podcast just chalked it up to a bad day at the office, underperformance, etc. Nothing that needed changing.

Al should not have even been fighting this soon after that loss. It should have been months before he even sparred again, nevermind took a fight. But his dad and his team just wanted him to Long Island the loss. And he does...and he goes out at loses another 3 straight rounds. That's 8 straight rounds in a row. Short of the Kevin Lee fight, he's been shut out in 3 straight fights. 13 rounds to 0.

Al is going to be another Weidman or Villante. Serra-Longo specialties.

Hopefully Izzy keeps up his high rate of fighting. We have seen other guys fight 3-4 times a year until they get the belt and all of a sudden its 1 time a year. Izzy does seem like the kind of guy that will keep fighting though.

Kron is a favorite over Swanson??? I question how it's even sanctioned. Is he going to zap him with kundalini chi?

Bet $100, make $230 at my bet place. That's ridiculous.

When he gets knocked out, he really gets knocked out! Maybe time for that dude to start looking for a new profession.

Damn, that Joanna vs Waterson fight was awesome. Really technical and impressive. Color me surprised, TBH. I am not a big believer in Joanna's skills - seemed like she was built for focus mitts not in-ring movement - but that was fantastic.

Mark Montoya, definitely the worst coach in MMA. Remember that Anthony Smith vs Jon Jones fight? He had no advice at all for Smith between rounds. Jon was just cruising with jabs, Montoya didn't once tell Smith to feint or counter with a cross. He was actually telling him to throw combinations or whatever. Just nonsense and, like, "you can do it". Now, he left that poor hick out there to take maybe the most damaging beating in UFC history? That was wretched. Throw in teh towel, you **** idiot.

Im down to never see Rockhold or Weidman fight again. Seems like I've seen both of those two scraped off the mat a few too many times at this point.
