This Cavs game was an awesome showcase of what Bruce has been working on in the off-season. He was going to the basket against contact off the dribble. He was elevating and scoring against contact at the rim. He was creating for teammates- getting guys lay ups and open jumpers. And he was defending and playing with force.

Bruce is on his way to better season. I’m hoping he can manage to average at least 8 to 9 points a game as the fifth option and get his assist numbers up to 4.

It was also a sad display of the team’s tendency to go through the motions at the start of the game.

They got to shake of that bent towards mediocrity. Young hungry teams will exploit that laziness and beat us.
