I wanted to cite Glenn McDonald, but it turns out he was 8th in minutes in the regular seaason before becoming a playoff end-of-bencher.

If Tacko plays well he won't be the 15th man in minutes played--either for the regular or the post-season.

I'd be very surprised if Tacko in his rookie year matched McDonald's minutes, because I'd be very surprised if he played non-trivial minutes at all for the first couple of months.

You all are so lucky (and smart) to have Tacko on your team.

Tacko is a monster, mammoth, and beast of a player....and a great guy. A rare 20 year prospect.

I watched Tacko in person at many of the UCF home games and he has gotten quicker and stronger, and more skilled each of the past
few years.

When Tacko was on the floor, the momentum of the games always changed DRASTICALLY. Opposing players freak out trying to
go to the rim. Shots are altered dramatically and missed because of his size. He can throw the basketball like a baseball the entire
length of the court.

I predict Tacko will be the next Wilt Chamberlain barring any injuries.

Enjoy him. He is a nice person who I have talked to a few times.

I was so upset we did not select him in the second round..ship off Vucevic and let Mo Bamba develop under Khem Birch,
a cheap, but very good player. :banghead:

Tacko would have come off the bench for us.

You all are so fortunate to have him!!!

I'm the president of the Tacko Fall fan club and was one of the first to suggest we draft him. When he signed with us I was so happy...

But..... dude. If he was Chamberlain he'd be drafted 1 overall over Zion.

I think he has a chance to be a solid role player in the NBA. That's my expectations for him. I hope he can prove me wrong but regardless he is still fun to watch.

I hated the Tacko Fall chants during our first pre season game. It makes him more a gimmick than a real prospect IMO. After what I saw I'm pretty intrigued but he still has a long way to go. You could also see how scared Charlotte really was to get in the paint so I think you do have a point there. Anyhow, I wish him all the best, he 100% won't be a Wilt though.

Taco will be a novelty player in the NBA.
Hopefully his man to man defense improves as we will need him against Phillie but it won't be this year.

Is there a good case for putting Tacko on the roster of 15 rather than just signing him to a two-way deal? If so, I don't know what that case would be.

I don't see a path to Fall being ready for the NBA sooner than midseason, at which point we could dump an end-of-bencher if we really wanted to, and it doesn't really seem likely he will belong in the NBA before next season.

Hah sweet. Eye balling that November 23rd game, will have to plan when it gets closer so we know he’ll actually play and not be with the Celts. Wouldn’t think he’d spend much time in Boston as a two way.
