I don’t think Paxton was tipping at all, he would’ve give up much more than 1 run and 4 hits if he were. When the D’Backs caught Pettitte tipping in ‘01 they rocked his shyt. You would’ve seen the Astros taking real solid swings if they knew what was coming.

Paxton had no control from the start, poor fastball and curveball control. Thru his first 25 pitches he threw 14 balls. Missing his spot constantly, feel it was just that simple why they pulled him.

I would look to sub Hicks in for Encarnacion for game 3, he’s had very poor at bats so far. Could be be a K machine for the rest of the series.
