I like Mason, but I don't know how he makes the final cutdown.
Don't think they will cut anyone. Thanis should be cut but yeh not going to happen. Frank will stay on as a 2-way.

Roster should look like this without Thanis

Bledsoe/Hill/Mason
Wes/Donte/Sterling
Midds/Patty/Korver
Giannis/Ersan/DJ
Lopez/Lopez/Bender

I'm Pretty sure the two way clock doesn't start until the herd season starts. No reason to cut anyone now.

Think we'll see some sort of Ersan + Sterling trade later in the season to clear cap and maybe bring in a "cagey vet" for the championship push.

Our 3rd string would be a bench that many teams in the league would be happy with, I really can't believe our depth.

That is true, but is it viable?
I can see a lot of these guys starting to feel disengaged, especially those who clearly put in the work and improved like Wilson.
I think we will need to package some of them and see what we can get at the deadline. A pure old school SG would be nice.

I'll be somewhat surprised if we don't at least win the East. Giannis is one of those guys who will only be denied of a championship for so long. This could be the year.

Not viable during the postseason, 15 man rotations aren't really a thing when you get to that point. Totally agree we need consolidate some of our assets, considering the draft picks that we got from Brogdon we can definitely grab a valuable player. Bucks would be fools to sit on their hands here

Ersan/Sterling + picks looks like an option. Maybe we want to hold onto Ersan though, we can take a few different routes.

I must have missed it. What's going on with DJ Wilson and why isn't he playing?

So trade a decent rotation player & a cagey vet to bring in a new cagey vet.....?

Load Management. No one plays more than 72 games.

I wouldn't trade anyone until it gets closer to the deadline. The season is long, last season was long, and quite a few of the top Bucks had a busy summer playing for their respective countries. They're going to need to give some load management to the starters so that depth will be leaned on pretty hard imo.

When it gets closer to the deadline patch whatever holes and tighten the rotation in preparation for the playoffs. They'll have a better idea by then what needs tweaking, and more quality vets will be available on the cheap once teams start tanking.

Umm, which team would be happy with Sterling, Korver, DJ as 6th-8th men?

remember our benches during Kidd years? :) it's a fantastic 3rd string any way you want to slice it, not going to go through every roster and see which teams its better than but I'm sure you get the point

You know you've made it when there are active threads on the General Board pooping on everything that your team has done.

I'm still not convinced that Luke Maye was ever an actual D-1 college basketball player. Won't rule out the possibility that he's just some 6'8 dude that threw on a Bucks jersey and showed up at media day and everyone just kinda assumed he was a ball boy/man-child or something.
