I don't know anything about Team France but it looks like French Frank is their starting PG and he hasn't exactly lit the NBA on fire

It does not look good for Okobo.
I would not expect him to play a big role, but with Parker (retired) and Heurtel (injured) out of the national team he should have grabbed a roster spot.

Vincent Collet, the French coch, explained today why he didnt keep Elie :
- interesting on defense but Frank is 100000 times better than him
- isnt mature yet as a PG, compare to Albicy and Frank who can organize
To conclude, i dont think it means anything since the way France plays is so diff than NBA and Elie is an NBA player, more scorer than organizer and he has to add it to his skills in the future.

Yeah, Frank is terrible offensively but really solid defensively.

Looked really strong last night and certainly had more confidence. Might develop in to an instant offense 6th man type? Thought his thread deserved a bump.
Props to Turbo_Zone for the sig.

Okobo looks a lot more comfortable playing the SG role.

He still looks like your typical french prototype. Super passive.
Flex is now your father.

It took barbosa a few years to figure it out, hopefully Elie can fit a similar role.

If Elie plays like that all the time, Tyler's gonna lose his spot in the rotation.

Wasn't super impressed with him last year. But I have to admit that he has played and looked very well. His 3pt looks way, way better and the decision making is still work in progress, but far from the atrocity it was last year. I actually think he can be a contributor in 2021.
