He had a shot and didn't really show enough to say his career isn't over.

He's not an NBA-level PF, that's for sure.

I get the sense we have one quasi major trade and maybe one minor.

I tend to believe we either get Beal (doubt) or Lowry (more likely) with beal getting 3 1's and players , but more likely Lowry and 2 1's.

that's a high price to pay for lowry.

Beal’s extension takes him off the trade market.

Super dead trade market right now.

I'm thinking picking up Alfonzo McKinnie over ISO Joe no? We would have to cut someone else I think, but we need another shooter type wing.

I've been talking Woods up since before the preseason started. It's insane the Bucks or Pelicans cut him and if the Pistons did to keep the scrubs they were going to it would even be more insane.

These are his preseason per 36's

28.0 ppg
15.3 rpg
2.1 apg
1.7 spg
55% FG
83% FT (high volume 10.2 trips to the line)

That's not even that much better than what he did last year in his per 36's last season in the regular season. This guy is a stud if he ever got a chance.

Just more reasons SVG was such as a terrible GM, with Bowers.

Living 10,000 from the hard cap doesnt allow any leeway for picking guys up, churning the bottom of the roster, trying to catch lightning in a bottle from guys other teams gave up on.

This team is hard capped and our starting lineup still looks pretty bad. It also only has Kennard, Svi and Brown as guys who might get better this season. Maybe Andre, he is still young, but he appears to think he is some kind of superstar when he is a garbagestar but doesnt realize it.

I was just saying this the other day to someone.

Just hire him as a player coach or something else.

Why take up a roster spot for a situational player on a mediocre team?

My guess is they were hoping JJ could play a Vince Carter veteran type role.

Looks to me like that dog won’t hunt.

I'm not sure how much confidence a DBB report lends, but of all the 'bubble guys' Wood has done the most to make his case.
