Romeo, Dragic, Maten and Milwaukee 1st to Orlando
Hayward, Semi and DJ Augustine to Miami
Aaron Gordon, James Johnson and Dion Waiters to Boston.

Orlando adds youth, a pick and a clear PG upgrade
Miami upgrades overall talent while moving players who are a bit redundant
Boston breaks down Hayward into more manageable contracts and add Gordon.

Kemba/Edwards/Wannamaker
Brown/Smart/Strus
Tatum/Waiters/Green
Gordon/Johnson/GWilliams
RWilliams/Kanter/Poirier

2WP - Tacko and Waters

I think Kyle Lowry is the domino right now - Detroit, Miami, Dallas, Orlando could all benefit from adding him, he’s more valuable than anyone else near the trade market.. Will be interesting to see whether the availability of alternatives will bring down his price..

I'd imagine one of the teams Indy has contacted is Boston

Everyone says trade JB for him. I don't see it. I think JB has much more value. You can see even the team he is playing for has a lower value on him that what he's expecting to be paid. Never buy high on a guy somebody wants to trade for money reasons. OKC and perk for instance.

I would offer Romeo, Semi, Bucks pick in 2020, our pick in 2021.

Probably an overpay with him being restricted next year and wanting more money than he's worth. He is an upgrade over Theis, Kanter, but it's not super huge and he doesn't shoot the 3 all that well.

Would offer Romeo and picks for Sabonis. Indy gets a local kid that fits perfectly as a 3 next to Oladipo. Would not trade Jaylen.

late picks.

Of course the GB is going on about how they will get some star player for him and maybe win the east....

A guy traded because he wants more money that what he's worth is rarely traded for a star player.

I would be shocked if we even had a discussion with Indy.

After Pritchard screwed Ainge over I don’t see them getting along.

ALove Sabonis, don’t know what the cost would be. Don’t want to move Jaylen for him, and it’s effectively impossible to work a Hayward for Sabonis trade.

What are the odds Langford becomes a Star? I’d deal him, I guess..

When Denver had Jokic and Nurkic, they wound up trading Nurkic (not an identical situation) for a less talented center, Mason Plumlee, who better fit a backup role..

Grant Williams and something else might work, but I don’t know if Sabonis is worth it - he’s a better version of Enes Kanter, a dominant rebounder and low post scorer, but by the time he’s up to par on defense and as a perimeter shooter, Rob Williams should be ready, too.

Kanter or Theis, Ojeleye, and a 1st in December?

The Jaylen situation is very frustrating. The guy wants max, and we’re probably going to pay him north of 100/4, which would be a massive overpay. I don’t think he’ll have a break out season with us this year, considering he’s a 4th-5th option at most times. Sabonis is still young and can have an upside almost as good as Jaylens. We have too much wing players, and one of hayward or brown has to go. Hayward would be harder to move. I think we can at least inquire on what it would take.

Denver gave Portland a 1st to swap Nurkic for Plumlee, and received a 2nd-rounder..

Of course sabonis is available, pacers already know he is terrible as PF and can't play with turner. He is the typical offensive C that isn't really good at anything, average athlete, average defender at best, and his ideal role is as 3 big coming from the bench.
It's crazy that some people think that this type of player has the same potential as a two way wing with elite athleticism like Brown.

Grant/Edwards for Sabonis would work but even writing it hurts

Kind of a gut check on how good the league thinks Sabonis can be.. Is he going to grind his way to being Marc Gasol good? Or is he Greg Monroe (also a good high post passer)? His work ethic is there, he’ll be a shooter eventually - but what’s his defensive ceiling?

I wouldn’t trade edwards just yet. That kid is instant offense.

That's not how Ainge works. He doesn't hold grudges. This is not a kindergarden.

And it can hardly be called screwing over. We don't even know what Ainge was willing to offer. Maybe it was something meh.

I wouldn't, either - and I actually think he might end up becoming a star - he has an 'it' factor. But unsentimentally, how do his floor and ceiling compare to Sabonis'?
