Fizdale is making Riley and the Miami culture look so bad. Pick a damn rotation and stick to it! Tell the team you will evaluate monthly. It shouldn't be that hard!

Honestly in an ideal world i would just start all 3 DSJ , Frank and RJ but with Morris that shouldn't and isnt going to happen

Unless you play Morris at the 4 like a smart guy

I dont want Mitch coming off the bench in any circumstance. Would rather sacrifice Frank starting than Mitch not starting.

Some great passing in this game but looks like they went away from that in the last key moments. Looks like we should be at least encouraged the offense looked crisper.

i noticed that, too. for a while, the offense does look like, give it to one of the scoring/iso guys, and see what happens.

but when RJ steps in, he changes things. he moves without the ball. i feel like he, ellington, and randle would have good chemistry together

I attribute this Marcus “Melo” Morris being out of the rotation... I didn’t tune in until the 2nd quarter... any reason why he was out?

Fiz is a big fan of revolving doors

i don't know, either. i didn't tune in until the end of the second quarter, as to not violate more comcast (james dolan) ****.

but him not being there definitely helped

Last game Trae was lighting him up and he had no counter offense. Tonight NAW lit him up and he had no counter offense

What defense are we talking about? He's been getting torched and can't even clap back

Dennis mucked up a ton of plays off ball. NAW made a ton of tough shots.

Fine, you win. Start Ntilikina and give him until Christmas. But if he plays poorly, you stans need to admit it and let it go.

Nobody is stanning when Dennis and Elfrid have played like mutts. At least the team plays better with Frank on the floor and that's all that matters right now. Get over it

I agree that Mitch's development should be prioritized, but the Mitch/Randle pairing is clumsy.

We can sub Frank in once Mitch gets into foul trouble

We tried the Trier catch and shoot twice for the game winner today and he choked on both.

this is your argument ? he missed 2 shots ?

It's not really his game. His strength is creating and hitting shots in rhythm. He needs the ball to score. Guys like Knox are better at catch and shoot, not Trier. Playing him off the ball isn't using him to his strengths on offense, and his defense is already below average.

They really weren't tough shots at all. Maybe for our guards they are so it may have looked tough? They looked regular to me, part bad defense part good offensive player. I still haven't seen DSJ play good defense at all this preseason, he's been bad all across the board imo

DSJ's defense was ok, with moments of good in the 2nd half.

He was dying on every screen in the first half though. He was more engaged after Payton's (too) long stint.

one of these days, you're gonna have to admit i was right....it's coming

I already volunteered to off Reggie, but I'm still deciding between the lead pipe, revolver, rope, monkey wrench or knife, but it is definitely going down in the cellar and I'm going to pin the blame on Col. Mustard

his catch and shoot numbers are very good he just doesn't have the attempts. look, out of all the young guards, he's the best shooter in rhythm or not. writing him off after 1 game when he basically missed the rest of the preseason is premature.

agreed, he's always been pesky off the ball *IF* he is engaged which is off and on which is maddening. But this was against back of the bench guys for the pelicans...he dies on way too many screens and it shouldn't take him 3 and a half qtr to get engaged on defense.
