AD gets the nod but I'm not sure it's by a quantum leap.

Just to show how head matchups are fallacious
https://www.landofbasketball.com/games_between/demar_derozan_vs_kawhi_leonard.htmDeMar DeRozan is statically better in head to head with kawhi.
Going by raw numbers doesn't do a great job of illustrating skill level of a player. AD is better than love.

Point being, as good as everyone is saying he is, his resume doesn't support that especially since he's supposed to be this transcendent talent. Also, big men are usually relegated to jump shooters playing with LeBron so, we'll see what happens this year.
Not comparing but just remember the numbers Bosh was putting up before playing with LeBron and having to end up being a stretch 4 next to LeBron

AD is a better rebounder than bosh was and although he was a solid PNR with LeBron, ad is much better in this regard. Bosh is a better 3pt shooter if I had to guess
But you're right in saying people sing his praised for someone that hasn't accomplished much. I don't think he's top 5 but I do think he's top7
All my top fives actually have accolodes.
1. Kawhi(2x champion/2xfvmp, 2xdpoy)
2. Giannis (MVP, 60 win team last yr. Ecf appearance
3. LeBron( hes LeBron)
4.steph curry(3x champion, 2x league MVP, best shooter of all time
5. James harden(league MVP)
Ad is number 6 or 7 for me. Because of his talent but I don't think he has the Moxy to win as the guy. He's not a leader tbe same was Paul George isn't a leader. They're secondary on championship teams.
