I think this will be a great pick up for the 49ers as everyone tries to adjust to stopping their running game.

I think I read that the Niners get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick if he leaves via free agency so that relieves some of the sting.
Another good part is that Denver fans sound genuinely sad to see him leave and say he's a good team player so it's not an AB situation.

Smart move Niners know this is a great year to try to get a guy to help take them far in the playoffs. The NFC has maybe 4 upper tier teams now (SF, New Orleans, Green Bay and The Vikes) they also get Denver's 5th as well. I expect SF to try to get one more piece
