I have been really enjoying these podcasts since I started listening a few episodes ago. I am always happy for more bulls content.

Some constructive criticism: Edward says 'you know' a lot lol. and that usually gets the rest of y'all y'all saying it too

Thanks for listening.

Haha yeah I'm very guilty of it myself and I don't think it's because of Edward. I can get anxious at times so I' started making a script to have my own thoughts down so I don't make those errors. Just have to keep working at it to stop having those uh and ums or repeating the same words over and over again.

But again, thank you so much for listening and really appreciate the feedback.

No worries guys. It's all good. I know how it is. It'll work itself out the more episodes you guys do. Keep them coming!

A good way to get rid of the ums and ahs -- the edit button. I cut out so many of those doing this

Thank you for listening!

Yeah, I'm surprised we have this many episodes already as well, but we are committed to doing weekly episodes (maybe we miss a week or so depending on our personal lives getting busy). Sometimes we forget what number we are on before recording .

I myself use Fifine which is a USB microphone. I can't remember what Edward uses. It's definitely isn't easy getting the sound right, and it took some work. I had issues with sound for a while, but eventually finally got things right on my end to start having clear sound.

Thanks again for the support and appreciate you listening.

I work in broadcasting, and just to chime in on this: any half-decent mic will do, and you are not likely to find much difference between a mic that costs a hundred bucks and one that costs seven times more.

What do make a difference are the type of the mic and the room you record in.

If you have a room that has no ambient sounds and no echo, you might consider a condenser and a pop filter. Condensers, generally, are deeper and more detailed in sound. The caveat is that because they are so sensitive, they will pick up any and all sounds in the room. Thought it was quiet? Pick up a condenser and a pair of headphones, and you'll hear it wasn't. A condenser also needs a stand, and power to work.

Dynamic mics are more straightforward and less finicky about the room and ambient sounds. You might want to have a pop filter here too, as you'll probably find the best sound speaking pretty close to the mic. Experimenting with the distance, you might find yourself 3 inches from the grille and popping the membrane. That Shure SM7B Red uses - one of the very best in this category.

There are also broadcast quality headsets available, something I would look into, as they keep the mic at the same position relative to your mouth if/when you move while recording.

Whatever mic you use, record in a room/place that is acoustically as dead as possible. No ambient sounds, no echoes. The mic is not an ear, it'll "hear" more than the ears, and the listeners will hear what the mic "hears".

You'll also need a recording and editing software, but that's another matter :)

Anyway, looking forward to another Bulls podcast. Shoutout to everyone making them, keep 'em coming!
