He set the record for most threes in an NBA debut and scored the most points for a rookie in their 1st game since 2002.

Porter was a DNP in Denver's first official game .
They're just too deep, he won't get a lot of run this season.

Yeah I watched the first half, PJ was on fire and got many great looks from Charlotte's ball movement. The Bulls have more talent than Charlotte on paper, but the Hornets were better coached and it showed clearly. It's rare to see a younger team moving the ball like that

I posted it on the last page but..

He plays with so much poise and confidence for a 19 year old. You can tell he was raised for this moment. The moment is never too big for him and it shows. When he finally gets a consistent jumper he's gonna be a superstar

Ya I should've clarified, I watched the highlights. I was talking more about how did his overall game look. How was the defense, it looked like from the highlights that his shots came within the offense (one of my biggest issues with him not doing this enough), how was he moving off the ball.

I have a lot of issues with a lot of areas in his game. But I really do like the kid and if there is a kid that is going to somehow make it work its him. That dude's drive is ridiculous.

The second he has a bad game you'll see people bring him up, there's a lot of people on the GB that want to see him fail just because he's a Knick, so doing well gets no reaction.

His defense was great. Deflections and instincts were on point. The only time he really struggled on offense was when he was forced to play pg at the beginning and near the end of the game but other than that he was great. His off ball movement was fantastic when they weren't sticking him in the corner.

The entire Charlotte team was on fire from 3... Plenty of wide open looks and it led to a franchise record for 3s made in a game. i think they were 23/42 or something like that. It seemed like Washington couldn't miss.

No, its because most of the regular fans just dont give a crap anymore about the Knicks because they are pretty much irrelevant for almost 20 years. Thats why you dont read much about RJ...

Lol you realize the Spurs guards and short and weak and they have no rim protection whatsoever? That plays perfectly into Barrett’s bully ball only mentality. Wait til you play teams with actual defenses

No.

The reason is people just don’t like RJ. We all watched him at Duke be a ball hog, take terrible shorts, be stiff as a board, play no defense, and hog the ball away from Zion in crunch time.

His game is just so unappealing and ugly rob the eye. That’s why we don’t care. It also doesn’t help that’s he’s Canadian and dresses like a pastor everywhere. Kids nowadays have to like the player to talk about them. Nobody likes RJ

Coby's been a bit ahead of the curve for the Bulls. Going to be a great spark off the bench for us this season. Had 17/7 first game.
