It's one of the best non-rookie deals in the league.

Club option in the third year will motivate him too. Richardson's deal was also good but it ends in 2021 rather than 2022.

Covington also makes the list at around 12m for the next 3 years
We know about J-Rich's friendly contract
PJ Tucker at about 12m for the next 2 years

Nunn is old and not on the radar. All the preseason narratives are set. It takes more than an opener to change the discourse.

I don’t know about all that he still put up 14/4/4 on 50%

Regardless he was better than Meyers really did not like his play at all, hopefully he gets it together next game

Agreed and yes I was a bit hyperbolic in my statement.

Future is definitely bright regarding the talent we will have/continue to develop going into having a max slot. But honestly this team as currently constructed can make some serious noise the next couple seasons.

It is worrying how much we depend on Bam in the frontcourt, considering Silva isn't a sure thing and won't always be available on the roster. This is where I hope JJ can have somewhat of a redemption and provide decent minutes at PF and even at the C. Bam was on his way to a monster game before he got that dumb 3rd foul. And before Silva was put in the game our interior presence on defense was a mess.

Yeah I’m definitely worried about our interior defense, once we face larger bigs it’s going to be a struggle down there. Silva was a breathe of fresh air because I knew Meyers wasn’t gonna get it done but he’s new to the team so I’ll wait for more games to really pound him hard.

This is ultimately what will dictate whether or not Bam has that breakout year. He easily could have had 18/15/5 with his regularly slated minutes.

Needs to be more disciplined about managing fouls, biting on pump fakes, frustration fouls etc more than others... or else it'll be an uneven year for him and for our overall defense.

Very weird. Suspension is over yet he won't be travelling to these next two road games?
