counterpoint, 100% of all sheep-shagging cases in the last 30 years have come in red, rural districts. why is nobody talking about how the republican agenda actively advocates for beastiality?

And here's the issue I'm addressing Zonk, you dont add one iota of value to anyone's life. yet you still deserve a chance to live & be you, too bad you dont think others deserve that same right. I'm not the one wishing harm on any one, thats you, in my book, thats deranged

If you put more people near each other you will have more opportunities for crime. Naturally cities will have higher crime rates than rural areas.

People in high population areas though tend to care more about things that are democratic causes, such as: support for public education, celebration of diverse cultures, libraries for lifelong education, and even: social programs for the working poor, daycare for single mothers, and yes even birth control etc. Because you see the problems more often on a daily basis. People living in cities are more comfortable knowing people of diverse backgrounds, ethnic and economic and are less likely to want to demonize people who are different than them. They also, in confronting crime for instance understand the solutions are less that you need to lock up all minorities (since let's be frank about it, you can overlay a racial demographic map and except the deep south you will find a higher proportion of all ethnic types other than white people clustered in cities) and instead understand the causes of crime better. Opportunity, lack of education, proximity, economics.

You're reaching here with your gotcha idea that all liberals are criminals. However, you trap yourself in a conundrum considering felonies do disenfranchise convicts of voting rights. If criminals can't vote then how are they responsible for Democrats taking office?

There is something here, though. Bernie is suggesting that the poor and disenfranchised might have some input to laws that disproportionately get them locked up (where white collar criminals and the Epsteins of the world walk free). IF there was a voting bloc of powerless people then there might be more thoughtful laws that would address root causes of crime and prevent these crimes in the first place. In many cases basically it is a crime simply to be born poor, with the wrong family background or be in the wrong place at the wrong time even if you didn't do it. You look the part and don't have the money for a proper defense.

The Law increasingly exists to protect corporations and the moneyed elite. It's easy to demonize the working poor and the hustling class, and turn a blind eye to white collar crime and corruption. To turn us against our neighbor. But I'd suggest you don't buy into it. The policies of liberals are more likely to make life livable for a working guy with health issues who wishes education weren't so expensive and there were more chances for hard working small businesses to succeed against corporate mega giants.

Interestingly if you look at the overlay of education levels vs population density you will see a higher proportion of those with Masters or higher level of education also live in cities. And studies all show the better educated you are the more likely you are to vote. Maybe people in cities are just smarter about these things? Just a thought.

Just trying to steer things back towards rational discourse. You know.

I dont believe for one second that all liberals were criminals, not did I say all criminals were liberals. Again that use of the word all is what brought up the discussion in the first place. Now I will say most, most criminals are liberal, and again vastly different statement that saying most liberals are criminals. There's no denying that, but its a tremendous difference from all

Perhaps if criminals want a say they shouldn't, you know, commit a crime. As members of the community then, they have their voice, their say. Why should a murderer or rapist have any say in legislation that impacts my life? They lost that right when they decided to go lowlife.

I know you're coming from a good and positive place doc, you always do and I enjoy reading your posts. I also think your views come from a good place, while we disagree on the way and how to get there, I dont question your character at all. The problem is, you are in a very small minority with respect to the liberals on this board. For every doc who can engage with people he disagrees with rationally and respectfully, you have a zonk, pancake, querdi, and jwiz. People who I'm sure love to echo Hillary's deplorables, but act like that themselves.

Funny how someone talks about things like beastiality, but proudly stands with the party that fights for a 50 year old man dressed as a woman to be able to use the same bathroom as an 8 year old girl. Talk about revolting

Ha this whole thread is deflecting from the cesspool cities of America all being super liberal, i.e. Chicago, Baltimore, etc. Like murder/rape/robbery is in the same stratosphere as what you mentioned

But let's not get into the nastiness with animals, its vile and grotesque, but I mean given who you are, do we really need to go there? Me thinks not, leave well enough alone

Just like someone named Shen talking about beastiality, but eats animal inners and animal feet. A foot fetish can also fall under the realm of beastiality

Wow imagine if I called you a monkey, I'm sure the racist cries would be heard all over by team liberal. But call me a monkey, and it's gravy. Typical liberal hypocrisy

What are you 4? Crying to others cause someone hurt your feelings, if you can't take it, keep me out of your fingers and stay the hell out of my posts. Why did you bring up something absurd about animals when we were talking about violence? I'm just calling out the joke that is mocking animal sex, yet eating animal inners and their feet. Both are disgusting, is one really worse than the other? No. Perhaps having sex with an animal is a cultural thing to some, heck there's even an ignorant racist joke about a Hindu guy and having sex with a goat, when asked if anyone has with a ghost. So maybe that's a Hindu thing, I dont know, but regardless, no more nauseating than eating feet or gizzards
