i mean you don't have to say it like that lol. people who watch basketball regularly sometimes hold on to the wrong narratives. it wasn't that long ago you yourself were pushing something that didn't really have any backing.

but either way, regardless of how much i dislike him these days, the notion that he's not a closer or doesn't come up big in clutch moments is pretty off.

I don't know, give it like 30 games into the season they may not even be a lock for playoffs. I honestly think they're great too, but if either AD or LeQing goes down, they're not going to win the game. They don't have our depth, and AD is injury prone for the same reason CP3 is. He's so good and tries to do every little thing, but it opens up the opportunities for getting banged up.

Without one, they're done. Fun guy and fun times ahead for us.

Anthony Davis played 75 games in 2017 and 18. Only played 59 last year, a lot of which is because of the trade situation. Right now you could make just as big of a case of Kawhi and PG being injury concerns as you couldDavis.

Well, I don't want to scare anybody, but in 2017-18 [their last full seasons], the 2 best plus/minus players in crunchtime were...LeBron and AD.

LeBron also led the league [by far] with 197 clutchtime points [less that 5 minutes left, ahead or behind by 5 or less]. AD was 6th with 140.

AD was 2nd in rebounds; LeBron was 4th. And LeBron was also 3rd in assists. And with a minimum of 60 attempts, Bron and AD were 2nd and 3rd in FG%, behind only Giannis.

Who wants to rehash that Clippers roster vs. Lakers roster "debate?" Obviously speaking about the junk spewed all summer to us from multiple Lakers fans and insiders.

Clippers bench:

Lou - 21, 7, 5
Trez - 17, 7, 4
Green - 12, 6
Harkless - 10, 4 boards, 4 steals, 2 blocks
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

@ Ranma

F&ck the "Fresh Prince" notion

That's all about an OUTSIDERS coming to the glitzy-side part of L.A.

Kawhi Leonard is the HOMECOMING KING.

I just love how they're finally going in with the marketing of "LA our way", "Hustle over hype", and all that, making it very clear that they don't care about the Hollywood thing, celeb scene and that, but they're trying to be the team of the people.

In the end we all know it'll take generations of sustained success to even start approaching anything like that, but I love the path they're taking.

***Warning: Going on a bit of a tangent***

It's genuine. "L.A. Our Way" works well as our slogan because it hits the nail on the head -- we're the Clippers, we define who we are. We don't fit the national media's narrative. We don't fit the Lakers fans narrative.

- "Is L.A. a Clippers town, now?"... "Will the Clippers overtake the Lakers as L.A.'s team?" <--- That's not what we concern ourselves with. That's a faulty premise propped up by all these other people. That's not our mentality. That's not within the framework of what being a Clippers fan means. We're the underdog, the younger brother.

Clippers going for our 9th straight winning season. Lakers going for 1 in a row.

Soon the Clippers logo will adorn over 300 basketball courts.

The next generation is getting plenty of Clipper nourishment. And now the young and good-looking Kawhi and PG. Bron might be the GOAT but he's an old GOAT.

And the Unibrow? gtfoh

The Lakers really miss Jerry Buss.

Lakers records each season since Jeanie took over...
2014 = 27-55
2015 = 21-61
2016 = 17-65
2017 = 26-56
2018 = 35-47
2019 = 37-45
2020 = 0-1... so far
